They should come in two packs I bought one because I wanted water-proof to a reasonable limit and beatable, not splash resistant and breakable. It's so nice I'm ordering another (2 is1 and ....) along with their Indestructible 300 Lumen headlamp. I like the fact the base and top have a rubbery grip. Standing it upside down on a table gives a better light on the table and it doesn't shine in your face 5An Amazing, Very Bright, Long Lasting Lantern. This is just an amazing product which you have to see to believe. It is a very bright, sturdy, well designed, battery powered lantern that is powered by three D cell batteries and lasts an incredible amount of time. We had a blackout due to hurricane Irma which lasted several days. Fortunately, I had this lantern and it delivered an incredible amount of light for several days on the same set of batteries. I have a large kitchen and this light lit it up completely to the point where my neighbors staying with me were amazed. If I sound too effusive it's because I really appreciated being able to sit in a brightly lit room which diminished that gloomy, helpless feeling you get when after a disaster you are stuck in near darkness for days. I have tried candles, flashlights and lower powered lanterns and none came close to the brightness of this one. After dinner, I turned down the brightness to it's lowest setting (which is still pretty bright) and placed it in the bathroom so people could have enough light to walk down the hall and find it without stumbling in the dark. After three days, it was still shining brightly on the same set of batteries. I highly recommend it for those rare times when you find yourself without electricity and have to deal with the pervasive darkness that envelopes your house. It's list price from Rayovac was $29.95 and that's what I paid for it on Amazon prior to the hurricane. I would also recommend that you buy at least a dozen D cells to keep on hand just in case. I have found the Amazon Basics to be a good value FYI.I now have several of these lanterns so I can light several rooms. 5Very Nice Rayovac LED Light This Rayovac LED light has Quality construction. Usually the weak point on all the LED lights is the switch. I hope this will last. This is one of the few lights that uses 3 D batteries for long periods of use, (instead of AA batteries) and is one of the reasons (along with quality construction) that I choose this light. The switch provides three levels of lighting intensity, and does not use a "blinking mode" as some other lights do. I highly recommend this light. I use this as a backup light for power outages. 5Very rugged and works well. Really solid, and hefty lantern. Seems very rugged and well made. Easy to operate. Push the button to turn on max brightness, press button again and it goes to half brightness, press one more time and it goes to about 25% brightness. Makes a great camp lantern, or in the house during power outages, or even for working in dark areas like an unlighted basement or a car in a dimly lit garage. Takes 3 D-cell batteries and I expect they will give good life unless used on max brightness continuously. Puts out plenty of light for the application. 5Tough, bright, and extended battery life. My first reaction...this lamp feels like a brick. It was heavier than expected. That's not a complaint, just an observation.It also lights up a room at night. I mean, really lights up a room. It turned out to be brighter than expected. Fortunately, you can control the amount of light generated by pressing the power button a few times. This lamp has three power levels - high, medium, and low. The power levels affect battery lifespan - with roughly 40hrs on high and over 250hrs on low. (that's not a typo. almost 10 days of light on low-power!)This lamp has a hook on the bottom of the unit so you can hang it.I keep coming back to this lamp feeling like a brick. It is built tough. The box claims you can drop it from up to 15ft and it will still work. No, I haven't tried that. It's also waterproof up to 1m deep. You can literally throw this lamp in a pool and it will resist water for up to 30mins. I haven't tried that either.It takes 3 D Cell batteries - which come included with the lamp. Make sure you remove the plastic insert in the battery compartment!Rayovac calls this lamp the "Workhorse Pro" and it lives up to the name. It's a beast of a lamp. 5Sadly disappointing performance in and around water. not so indestructible Initially I was super happy with the light, seemed well built, provides a nice bright and surprisingly wide beam. My intention was to use it for search and rescue from our watercraft. So I took it out on a training night...... It got water in it after being used on the surface and the water is pretty much impossible to drain being LED. So now it wont turn off via the switch, you have to turn the lens off to disconnect from the batteries. The return warranty is over, even though its been WAY less than a year. Needless to say, it still has water in it, and its really been a huge disappointment. 1The mother of all flashlights This light has an incredibly bright CREE LED with a precisely focused parabolic reflector. It has a long run time (between 8 and 40 hours depending on the brightness setting) and it uses easy to find AA batteries. It also has a very comfortable ergonomic handle and, if you are in a space with a ceiling, you can stand it on its base to use it as a lantern. The body of the light is protected by rubber armor and it is IPX7 rated which means it can withstand 30 minutes of submersion at a depth of 1 meter. There are three brightness settings. Maximum is so bright that you can feel the heat when you put your hand in front of the beam! I think it is very well engineered and a very good deal for around $34. A set of Rayovac alkaline batteries are included. 5Great! I love this thing! It's compact and puts out a lot of light. It's perfect for working in dark places, i.e. under the sink. I've used it for several hours and the light is still bright as ever. Previously I had a plug-in LED work light. But it's so much better not having to drag around a cord! It also came in very handy when I was installing new light switches and had to shut off the power to sections of the house. 5Great Product I just got this flashlight I m hoping it is a great one because of its reviews so far seems to be exact to what others state. It a heavy duty flashlight and the brightness seems great in my opinion. It has 3 settings to the flashlight 1. Very Bright 2. Medium Dull Bright 3. Lowered Brightness (But all giving great lighting from Highest to Lowest. Plus an on and off switch and a rubber handle to wrap around wrist when want to grab it on the go.
