    Really liked that I didn't have to put this thing togetherReally liked that I didn't have to put this thing together. It's really light, so I'm able to move it around if needed. It did come with a few minor scratches on the front right leg, but no big deal since they're close to the bottom. 5The wrong dimensionsThe website listing for this item gives the wrong dimensions, and not just by a little. For example, the item is listed as being 38.5 inches in height, whereas the piece shipped was only 29 inches high. Oddly, the exact same thing happened with another online provider, so it might be that the product description provided by the manufacturer is wrong. 1The dimensions of this chest are way offThis is a tiny, lightweight, insubstantial chest that is far smaller than stated. It is not 26" w x 15.5" d x 36.8" h, but 21" w x 13.75" d x 29.2." h. It looks like a child's toy. Amazon and Safavieh, please correct this listing. 1however the piece is nicely made and I decided to keep itThe dimensions were incorrect, however the piece is nicely made and I decided to keep it. 4major quality issuesvery poor quality with multiple issues. (1) back left corner of table top had been damaged and badly patched (2) veneer was separating in 2" area along one of the sides (3) unit was splattered in white paint (4) door knobs were not even (5) piece was unevenly distressed - I expected variation, but one area 2" in diameter was rubbed near to plain wood. see attached photos. I don't think I've ever posted such a poor review online before. I would send it back, but my husband already recycled the shipping box. these issues were not related to shipping, the box arrived in ok condition.Plus, I was surprised to find that the inside of this cabinet did not have a shelf. It's a large area. I'm going to have to jerry rig some kind of shelf in there. I went back and checked the description and it didn't say there would be a shelf, so I guess that is my fault for expecting a piece with such a large opening to also have a shelf.I also purchased the matching Safavieh Clarence end tables. the end tables were fine - not the best quality, but fine for the money. they did not have the quality issues that the Herbert chest had. Amazon gave me a 25% discount, and I'm going to try to refinish the piece myself, but I'm pretty irritated about it. the piece was purchased to fit a specific sized spot in my living room, and I don't like that a piece this cruddy is so visible. 1Five StarsI am very pleased with this item. Serves my purpose. 5You get what you pay forI needed a cabinet with specific dimensions to fit a small wall in my foyer. This fit the bill and was pretty neutral decor-wise, so I ordered it. Delivery was to my door and on time. The piece is nice looking but somewhat cheaply made....which I somewhat expected for $210. The color is definitely lighter than it appeared online, but still attractive enough. There are a few scratches and small defects that aren't terribly noticeable. The trim around one of the "inlays" has a defect which looks like damage but is just the junky piece of wood they used (see picture). All in all, liveable. The main reason I took stars off is because it was missing some bolts, which is really irritating more than anything. Extra washers and missing bolts?
