    You Get What You Pay ForI wanted a small leather case to carry business cards in, to replace the vinyl one I was using. I did not want to spend too much money.This case met 3 of my criteria--it holds business cards; it is leather; and it was inexpensive.The case holds business cards, but not the 25 indicated in the product description. The case is made out of the cheapest, thinnest leather I have ever seen. It was cheap.When the product arrived it was folded in such a way that the open edges of the two sides did not line up. I figured that in time, with use, the fold in the leather would change. Even after I clipped the edges overnight, the product did fold evenly.I didn't make a big deal about it, since it does serve its function--holds my cards--but I am not happy with the purchase. If I had spent more money on the product, I probably would have returned it. The only reason I gave it 1 star ratings is that the web site would not let proceed without a star rating. Given a choice, I would have rated this product zero stars.The old adage is true--"You get wat you pay for! " Don't waste your money on this product. 1Well made, NOT too thick. Real leather is not supposed to be thin. :)This is a TERRIFIC product. It can hold credit cards or business cards. It feels and looks great. It is 100% real leather. There was a reviewer that thought it was too thick. I have seen thin plastic versions that are similar to this and are thin. Over time they rip and tear. (I had one and bought this item to replace a torn plastic one.) I really believe it is the perfect thickness for real leather.There are other products such as the PU Leather/Metal Business Card Holder Wallet that are real leather but are poorly executed. However, this item is well made. The sewing is perfect and the materials are all real leather. I imagine this will last me (and you too!) for many years.Thanks for reading!!! :) 5OK but not quite big enoughI bought this case because my older case was beginning to rip out. It looked a little bigger than my old one however, the stitching is a little further in from the edge and it turns out that the pocket for the cards is the same size. the net result is that1) the case is more durable than my last one2) the pockets will only hold about 6 cards per side3) The cards are hard to insert and remove from the pockets.It really needs to be just a tad wider so the cards slip in.all that said, it does the job and will comfortably fit in my back pocket 3Nice leather business card holder. Capacity will increase with use.My first impression of the Samsill leather business card holder when it arrived a month ago was, that it was nice looking, well made of a good quality/sturdy leather, and that it would Definitely NOT hold the 25 business cards that it is advertised to hold. I was happy with my purchase, and did not really care that I could only fit in 12 of my business cards(6 per side) without possibly bending the corners, as I never really hand out more than that each day. I also had previously read a review which said that the capacity is much less than advertised, so I wasn't surprised. Today after deciding to leave this review, I wanted to see if after 1 month of use, and the Leather becoming more flexible, if I could fit more business cards in. I started out by adding a few additional card per side until I reached 11 cards per side. To avoid bending the corners of my cards, I would slide in additional cards behind cards that were already in place. I only had 22 cards with me, otherwise I would have tried to see how many more would fit. However I can say that since my business are thick high quality cards, that the stated 25 cards capacity is definitely accurate, once you break this product in a bit, and as long as you don't mind a some what tight fit, and the possibility of the corners of some of your cards getting slightly bent. 4Exactly what hubby was looking for...My Realtor husband needed a new card hold to carry his business cards. He wanted something that was relatively flat and small so that it would be comfortable carried in his pants pocket and not wear a hole in his pocket. We had looked in many stores unable to find something that was compact enough to be what he wanted so I ordered a couple of designs off Amazon. This is the one that worked best size wise. It looks nice, was economical enough that if/when it wears, it isn't a big deal to buy another, and it holds enough cards to not run out in between his opportunity to refill it. The order came in a timely manner in condition. It met our needs and expectations. 5Does "genuine cowhide leather" melt?The product has very gaudy puckered corners. The puckers greatly distract from any sleekness. When I examined the product with a 60x microscope the material looked suspeciously like fake leather. When I applied heat to the puckers they melted, flattening out.So... should I be happy that the product is now sleeker with the smoother corners? Or, be disappointed that the product is not the leather case I ordered? 1FunctionalI purchased this for my son to keep his insurance cards safe in and separate from his wallet which he s very tough on. His dental card is paper so this was cheap enough to buy and it serves the purpose for what I purchased it for. Not sure if you ve ever taken an elderly parent to Doctor and waited for them to fumble to find medicare card AARP card etc but this eliminates that problem by keeping all in one spot ;) 5real leather, looks & works great.I use this as a business card holder as well as my everyday wallet - it holds my driver's license, debit card, credit card, auto insurance card, a couple of folded $20 bills, and 12-15 standard size business cards. I hand out my cards multiple times each day and this holder is easy to use and refill. The leather and stitching seems to be of good quality - it was very stiff when new and though it's started to stretch out nicely after a month or so, it's still firm and sturdy. This is a good buy. 5Reasonable quality product that does what it needs toI don't like carrying around a large, overstuffed wallet, so I bought this business card holder to use as a wallet. It has a sleeve on each side. I use one side to keep my driver's license and a few credit/debit cards, and the other to carry a few business cards so I have them when needed. It works really well for my use case. It would also be great for just carrying business cards. If you do want to use it as a wallet, keep in mind that there's no large pocket for carrying cash, but since most of my transactions these days are digital, I don't mind.The leather isn't the highest quality you'll find, but it's OK and wears quite well. I replace it about once per year. 5Love that this one is real leather.I use products like this as my primary wallet. I shove credit cards, IDs, and some currency in them, and I carry the wallet in my front pocket where it feels safer. This product is genuine leather, and so far it's working well. Looks much nicer than the synthetic ones I've bought in the past. If it lasts longer, it'll be worth the marginally higher price tag.A couple years ago, I couldn't find anything like this online. Nowadays, I'm finding dozens. Thanks goodness. 5
