    Goat sturdy and approved! Very sturdy and well packed for shipping.These feeders easily hold 2 flakes of hay. They went up easily and hold up to head butting and tugging. These are an excellent value!It would have been nice if the description included the size and spacing of the holes. Since these are made with 1/2" steel bars, they aren't flexible.The holes themselves are approximately 3/8". I used 5/16" hex head lag screws to mount them in our barn. The holes at top were about 27 1/2" on center. The bottom holes were about 17 1/2" on center. I hope those measurements help someone make decisions about where and how to mount these feeders. 5Not just for your standard farm animals. Great for house rabbits! We got this items for our rabbits so they can have a nice big hay rack. It's heavy, sturdy and holds quite a bit of hay. Long gone are the day of daily refills, I only need to refill their hay every 3ish weeks.My only complaint is that the black paint came very, very, very chipped all over. Ultimately, I fix that myself. 4it will be just perfect for them Too small; purchased for my quarter horse, and after installing, we've found that he's having a difficult time getting at the hay. Will swap it with the one we're using for our miniature horses; it will be just perfect for them 4When it arrived it to was chipped worse and it had two bars bent Fist one the black coating chipping off. It is even better than I had hoped for. Bigger, stronger! Excellent product, I would highly recommend it! 5Heavy duty but beat up As an update - I received the 2nd one of these (after waiting almost 2 weeks after it was listed as in stock), and the paint was messed up on the area the animals will be using - 2 for 2 that came this way. The other concern was the lack of speed it took to get these. See attached picture for the latest one with paint chipped off - check out the bottom rungsGood heavy steel and welds. Biggest problem is the paint and primer are messed up on the front of most of the rack.Other concern was how long it took to ship - we bought 2 - one took a week the other one over 2 weeks and still no sign. 2This hay rack does the job! I installed this rack in under 10 minutes, including putting up a piece of plywood in order to attach it. I was not sure how my goat would take to it but after she inspected it, she went right in and started eating. She also likes to rub her head on the bars. 5Absolutely love!
