Worst Teak EverTerrible, maybe defective? Used teak my whole life and this is the worst quality yet. Not sure it's really teak. Only used indoors.Pictures show in 3 months it's disintegrated. Teak oil won't help. Am contacting Amazon it wasn't cheap. 1Looks brand new even after 3 years !I bought this in early 2015. Over 3 years later it is in perfect condition. First year I had it in the shower, so it exposed to water multiple times a day, now it is outside our shower as a mat. It is GREAT quality. I'm going to now look for other products by this company because it has proven itself to be high quality. 5TK KatyI appreciate this shower mat, its very comfortable to stand on and work's well in my shower. I have it for over three weeks and I'm enjoying it, at the end of each week I remove it and apply teak oil to condition the wood and to keep it from drying out because of all the different bath soaps and foaming gel that's being use in my shower. I give it 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough to rate it higher. 4Quality Teak Shower MatVery pleased with this product. The teak slats are sanded smooth and feel comfortable on my feet. I use this in a stand up shower in the head on my boat. The mat's surface dries quite quickly and I no longer find myself in standing water while finishing my morning routine. Oiling the mat every couple of weeks has maintained its beautiful color and finish. 5Feels great on my feet and compliments the bathThe shower mat is really well represented by the picture. There is a bit of "film" on the wood slats, but the feeling has worn away over the past week. The water evaporates off the bath mat quickly. This is a generously size mat and the labeling on the mat indicates that the wood comes from sustainable teak plantations. This is also the best price I could find anywhere. I figure that I will get decades of use out of this mat... bathroom, patio, pool, backdoor... and so the cost is worth it. 5Beautiful Craftsmenship and Perfect As Shower Mat!I initially looked into ordering this type of shower mat because I just moved into a new place and didn t want the usual store-bought shower mats that get soaking wet after every shower.So I ordered two of these mats, and they came in really fast! They did come a day apart from each other, which I thought was odd; I was fully expecting them to arrive the same day since I ordered them at the same time. But in any case, the first package arrived two days after I ordered them! And then the second package came in the following day. So all in all I received my entire order within three days! Very fast.Now on to the product itself: sturdy material! Great craftsmanship. Great smell as well. Love that you can step right out of the shower onto it and not have to worry about it being soaking wet the next time you decide to step on the mat. I did order two, so one is right outside my shower, and the other is right inside my shower. I have a standup shower so it s great because it s raised a little above the floor of the shower, so you don t have to worry about standing in any water! As you re showering, the water goes right through the board underneath you to the shower floor and down the drain.I think the only thing I would have to caution you on is that the dimensions advertised aren t correct. The dimensions are actually:**31-1/2" Length**19-3/4" Width1-1/4" HeightI was expecting the shower mat to be the 30-1/2" length that it was advertised, but it s actually an inch longer, which ended up not fitting into my shower the way I wanted it to because of the extra inch. But I was still able to make it work another way anyway.All in all a great buy! Just keep in mind the real dimensions. 4Slides Around Easily in Shower..The SeaTeak 60021 Shower Mat is a nice addition to your mini shower basin to prevent you from standing directly in puddled water. The mat is well constructed and comfortable to use, no sharp edges, etc. My only complaint is that the nine little hard rubber feet allows the mat to easily slide around the shower when its wet, and possibly causing a fall hazard if you're not extremely careful. 4Works great for our front door entry mat (outside)Absolutely gorgeous. I wanted a door mat for our entry door as I got tired of the usual styles made for this, which fall apart after a year or so, and also leave a nasty stain on the concrete. This thing looks so good and everyone who comes through our front door says so. I bought another one from another source originally, but it was smaller and not as gorgeous as this one, so moved it to the door off the deck. But compared to this teak one, there's no comparison. So happy I found it. 5THIS IS ONE PRODUCT THAT REALLY DESERVES A FIVE STAR RATING.I am a former boat owner (36 foot sloop); and I vowed never to buy anything teak again. Its longevity outdoors is exceptional, but the maintenance for outdoor use on a boat is literally painful. However, NOT SO indoors... just teak oil it a few times a year, unless you like a gray color.We just completed a basement bathroom. This teak shower mat is very well made of excellent materials, does not slip on the tile shower floor (nine rubber feet), and you do not slip standing on it. I had my next door neighbor who is 6'2' , muscular, and weighs more than 230 lbs. to come over and stand on it while the mat was in the slightly curved bottom of the shower.NO PROBLEM WHAT-SO-EVER. .... Great product. at a fair price!.. 5Before use, rub in teak oil it will keep it beautiful and will resist water and soapThis was purchased to put in the shower in our RV. Also purchased the teak oil as some had suggested and applied layers over two days..top, bottom and sides..then let dry.It has not turned grey, it is strong and does what i purchased it for. it gives a sturdier slip free floor. It also keeps your feet out of the soapy waterIt is also a great teak color.We rinse top and bottom to remove soaps, after each shower and flip up against side wall of shower to dry.It is functional and beautiful We love it! 5
