Awesome product, great valueI ordered 2 sets of chairs and received them yesterday (over a week before the expected delivery date)! I have been looking at chairs for over a year and when I saw these I couldn t pass up the price!!I waited on assembly until my husband was home because of both the directions and reviews stating that at least 2 people are needed. I put all 4 chairs together without help in about an hour. Each chair came with it s own wrench, the only tool needed. The cushions are pretty firm, but not uncomfortable and we expect them to get softer with use. I m very pleased with the appearance, ease of assembly, and the price. The only changes that I will make are to adhere felt floor protectors to the feet and scotch guard them, as they will be used by our family daily. They don t seem cheap at all, very solid sturdy chairs. 5BELLASLAS AMOO ME ENCANTAN... 5Not a project for someone with little or no D.I.Y. experience.I put these chairs together by myself. A second set of hands would have been helpful, but not essential. Once I figured out to change the order of assembling the pieces, and that the support piece does not fit together without being somewhat creative, it's a wonderful product. I'm going to go out on the limb and say that the manufacturer probably did not follow the design specs. Good luck. 5Great set of chairs.These chairs are so beautiful & very sturdy! The directions were super easy & made it a piece of cake to assemble. The first chair took us like 30 minutes because we were trying to figure out all the pieces & how they matched up with the labels but after that, each chair probably took 15 us minutes. So happy with this purchase! 5If I had done this at first it would have been better, but you really don't imagine that the manufacturer ...There are a number of issues with these chairs. They do not appear to be completely wood. It says they are but that is a lie. The assembly would have been simple IF they had provided the proper length bolts. Some of the 60 mm bolts are a little too short. I fixed this by removing the lock washer. So far, OK. The bigger problem is with the 80 mm bolts. They are too long, by a fair amount. In fact, when I tried to drive in the bolt, I managed to crack some of the (wood?) on the chair leg. The solution is that I'm going to have to go to Lowes and get a bunch of 5/16" washers to add some extra space. If I had done this at first it would have been better, but you really don't imagine that the manufacturer would not know how long their bolts should be. But that is absolutely the case. Interestingly, the bolts all have SAE diameters and metric lengths. Weird. Finally, you will spend a great deal of time removing the many stickers all over these things. You will need Goo-Gone too, because they will not just peel off. 2Great Chairs! *Part labeled M is important*Bought theses as office nook/extra dining chairs. I wanted classic/neutral style with a low price because I change accessories, chairs, window treatments often. To keep cost low, I Chose self assembly. Instructions for first step are busy & I missed inserting the wooden plug, part M, on the first chair. Assembly time first chair 30mins. Second chair less than 10mins. Everything was packaged wonderfully and made for easy assembly.Beautiful addition to my office, and these chairs will definitely come in handy around thanksgiving time.I don t think I d use these in a high traffic dining room, but that s a personal preference.Photos don t do justice to detail. In other words the chairs look better in person. 5Chair back appears to be made from plastic!Description says 100% pine, however the back rest section appears to be molded plastic, and sounds hollow inside. There are no joints between the different pieces of this section, it is all one piece and has no weight to it, like wood does. The seat and front legs appear to be solid pine. I'd return them, but don't have enough time to order before guests arrive, so they will have to do for now. 1Too diffucult to assemble and don't order the assembly packageThe chairs are nice looking but sooooo difficult to assemble. We ordered the assemble package because we are older. One of the young men who was supposed to do it had no patience and wanted us to return them. There were no holes drilled where you are supposed to screw the seats. Fortunately my husband had a drill which these young men had left in the truck and were too lazy to get it. Putting the rest of the chairs together took the effort of two men, one of whom was my husband( 81 year old ) and he had to force one of the young men too help him. When they were finished they left us with such a ness that it took me an hour to clean up. It cost over $150 to have the table and chairs assembled and the men they sent didn't know what they are doing. 3Perfect chairs - match the Glambrey tableI see mixed reviews on these chairs, but I LOVE them. I purchased to match the glambrey collection dining room table D329-15 (available via Amazon). They match the table perfectly and match my vintage casual decor. The seat material is a thick almost corduroy-ish material with a dark beige print, slight hints of red - it's hard to describe. I was worried it would clash would my curtains or other decor, but it's so dark that it doesn't really contrast at all. Its a good color in that they won't show dirt, stains or wear easily. The wood is a dark grain, looks nice - provides the vintage look. As far as putting them together, my husband put all four of them together with no problems in approximately one hour. You do have to brace and hold weight against the opposite legs to push them into position during assembly. It may be difficult for someone with a disability or without strength. Once you have them together, you won't regret your purchase. 5worst custimer serviceI love these chairs. They are beautiful. I can't give it 5 stars due to the company that sells them as one of the chairs has an issue with the screws falling out from the bottom plate in between the legs support. I've contacted the sellers, Oj Commerce 3 times and not once have they replied. I don't want to return the chairs as they are beautiful. I just need that metal piece so that I can fix the one chair that's defective.. I would've been giving it. 1 star for lack of Customer support but the chairs are very nice. 3
