NOT a space-saver. Good quality but I'm not happy with it. It takes up half the cabinet once you put lids on it which defeats the purpose of using this to save space. I wish I could return it.... 2As advertised! Brackets slide over my cabinets perfect - no tools required! Rubber feet keeps this rack from moving as you open/close your cabinet door. The bracket is not adjustable, you cannot lower it. Because of this reason, I can only put a 8-9" lid on the top rack or the cabinet door would not close. On the 3 lower racks, I am using them for 12-13" lids and they are perfect. The lids stay in place even when I open or close the cabinet door. 5Sturdy, hold heavy glass and even cast iron lids This is a great product. It's very sturdy and holds heavy lids, including my cast iron dutch oven lid, with ease. As other reviewers have noted, it does indeed take up a lot of room inside the cabinet, and the space saved by moving the lids to this holder doesn't really help. Because of this, I am using it on the outside of my cabinet door. It's attractive enough . . . and it helps me do a better job of removing streaks and smudges!I'm buying another one for a different set of pots and pans lids, so obviously I love it. 5Disappointed I have two main issues with this product. 1. Even my smallest lid doesn't fit on the top section b/c it gets caught on the cabinet when I try to shut the door, therefore I can't use the first slot. To fix this, it should have another inch or two in length... dropping the top slot down. 2. The lids stick out so far, that I can't put anything in my cabinet in front of them. I expected this to happen some, but it basically defeats the purpose of freeing up space in your cabinet. 3Works perfect Easy install. Literally put it over your door. Haha. Super sturdy as you can see I have 5 glass tops on it and no issues.All you see once installed is the little tab over the top of the door. I don't mind this at all and would rather not drill in my doors like other manufacturers pot cover holders.I've slammed the cabinet door and none of the lids have ever fallen off. Very happy with this purchase 5Very pretty and sturdy Perfect size for a standard countertop and very sturdy. I purchased a similar one from a local store and returned it because it was too large, this one is much better. 8 inches across from edge to edge and the banana tree great, currently holding a medium bunch of 8 bananas, and an entire bag of Cuties mandarins. I also love the brushed nickel as it matches my kitchen and every tree that I found in stores only came in chrome. 510/10 would recommend I bought two when I downsized to a very small apartment with an even smaller kitchen. I have two sets of pots/pans and therefore a lot of lids. These fit perfectly in the cabinet and you can barely notice them on the outside. They're sturdy so I'm not worried that my glass lids will fall and break. My roommate and I slam the cabinet doors shut without concern. I have a feeling that these will last a long time, but if they don't I would definitely buy these again. 5Appears to be a good product... This appears to be good product, unfortunately I was unable to use it with my kitchen cabinets. I did not have the closure clearance. It fit perfectly over the door, however, I was unable to close my doors properly, and this was without the lids. I live in a rental and so I am unable to modify the home property. My fault as I should of measured correctly. Had to return the item, not due to any defect, but rather my lack of measuring. If I had the ability of removing a shelf, it would have been a perfect fit, I just can't sacrifice the shelf space. 4Great storage! Yet another effective product maximising space in my small galley kitchen. I like this particular rack because it hold lids with round or rectangular handles AND lids of many sizes. It also doesn't require drilling into my door, which is relatively thin.I could have used one more slot but it's not a big deal. One glass lid had a big round handle that was too large to fit the slot and be stable but I seldom use it so I put it to the far back of my cupboard. 5not saving much space - even with potential adjustments that could be made by bending metal for better custom fit Review breakdown: Pros/Cons & SummaryPros:+ soft padding on top hooks and base prongs to protect cabinets from scratches+ measurements of unit were fairly accurate (see my photos attached for LxWxD")+ bendable metal to adjust spacing minimally (could adjust width for pot handles, possible alter angle at which pot lids lay in unit) (found this out because one portion was bent slightly upon delivery, not in line with the other portions of the unit)Cons:- bendabilty of "chrome" metal causes me to question durability & longevity with daily use- narrow center prong width does not fit wide diameter plastic handles, would require ot to be bent wider to accommodate even the ones pictured by seller- lid space (between each of the 4 level prongs) is quite narrow & angle is odd, not fitting thickness of standard metal pot lids with lip, also not giving space needed to get pot lids in/out without catching on next lid's handle- large diameter pot lids do not fit on this, regardless of handle type, because of the slant angle, they stick out too far & interfere with cabinet frame and door swing clearance (and eating up inside cabinet space, mentioned as another negative aspect below) (might not be a factor in a very wide cabinet with tons of clearance)- top prong level can only be used with very small pot lids to clear top of cabinet- very bulky in cabinet when medium - large lids are on it, resulting in over 10" needed within cabinet depth for regular size lid clearance, not saving much space- even with potential adjustments that could be made by bending metal for better custom fit, not well designed well enough to be very useful & justify priceSummary:I did all the measurements carefully prior to purchasing, and it does fit in my cabinet, but once any combination of lids are added, I found this product is not designed well to save space at all, as outlined above. The seller measurements indicate the depth to be 7", but it extended well beyond that, and with lids, even more so beyond that, requiring over 10" of inside clearance space, which is too great a chunk of my cabinet to lose, when I thought I'd be gaining area. Additionally, it does not fit the kind of pots that have wide knobs (ironically almost identical to the ones pictured in the product listing) because it is too narrow, requiring it to be bent out manually on each hook level to accommodate the larger diameter plastic knobs (see my photo attached). I would fear bending this would loosen the welded joints, rendering it useless. It's an odd combination that it's design makes lids sit closely & creates too tight of storage between lids, tangled/caught on each other & at handles, yet takes up too much inside cabinet and requires a large swing/protrusion area & sticks out too far. Just not a practical fit in a frequently used, narrow cabinet, which is likely to be the kind of space this organizational tool would be put into use to maximize area. Would love to return this for a better design, if such a unit exists. Please comment if you have one that works better.
