    Love!I've never had one and now I can't understand how I ever lived without one! As a scraper its so handy. But as a chopper? Well, nothing like tomatos or onions, but I did easily chop cooked taters and boiled eggs for potato salad. I wash by hand easily and it's just a wonderful edition to my kitchen tools. 5Wonderful Multi-purpose Tool!I love this tool and only regret I did not get it sooner. It is invaluable for dividing dough and transporting chopped foods from the cutting board to another destination. I was surprised to find how quickly I have come to rely on it as a bench scraper, and as a result my kitchen counter remains a more effective work area during major chopping events or after rolling out or forming dough. The fact that it's stainless steel and easily cleaned means you can quickly move from one application to another. I now keep it standing on its side on the counter at all times, ready for action. Get one of these; you will love it!I have deducted a star because the "tape measure" washed off the first time I scrubbed this otherwise wonderful tool. I hope it was FDA-approved ink, because some of it probably ended up in my pizza crust. There was no stamping in the metal, so as soon as the ink was gone it was like it had never been there. I would have enjoyed using that feature, but still love this tool for its main purpose. 4Great scraper, awful chopperThis is a pretty essential tool for bread-making. It's great for scraping up dough from all kinds of surfaces. It's especially useful when working with sticky no-knead recipes. It's also great for separating dough, or moving bits around. And the all steel construction makes it easy to wash when it does get sticky. And it will get sticky, if you are using it right.However, I do take issue with this being billed as a chopper. Knives are for chopping. This thing doesn't come sharp, and sharpening it with is stone would probably just screw it up, and make it hard to use as a scraper. It's not made from cutlery steel, so I don't expect it would hold an edge anyway.Sure, you could force the blade though some vegetables, but you could also try to cut with a spatula. If you want a chopper with this sort of shape, get an ulu. Or better yet, learn to use your chef knife. This scraper excels at scraping, but it should not even be labeled as a chopper. 4The inch markings and the brand name disappears.Amazon tells me I bought this 5 years ago.Funny, I'm thinking I don't own a scraper with inch measurements on it!Oh yeah, the inch markings and the brand name disappears after a short while.Otherwise, quite sturdy and functional and will undoubtedly last forever! 4Handy item that I use dailyI use this product every day! I purchased it years ago. I remember reading the reviews and being so worried about it because I read so many various complaints. I don't know what people expect from a piece of metal that picks stuff up off your counter. This has a large enough slit in between the handle and the base so that if food chunks get stuck in between them they can be rinsed off immediately. It does not rust at all (after years of daily use), and I have NEVER had a problem with it scratching my counters or cutting boards. I've done some heavy-duty scraping after pizza dough or bread dough has been left on the counter all day and never had a problem. I really love this product! 5Numbers and markings peeled off into my doughThe numbers and markings are printed/stuck on this, not etched, and they came away into my dough while I was using it to portion the dough. It has only been handwashed, not put in the dishwasher. I'd recommend getting one with etched markings instead. 1New Fave Kitchen ToolI have been wanting to get a scraper like this for a long time and am so pleased with this particular one. It is durable, easy to clean, has measurements on it and is just handy as can be! Great quality as well. Highly recommend if you love to cook / bake! 5Functional SimplicityNorpro scraper-chopper: I like that it's all stainless steel so I don't have to be concerned about a wood (or even plastic) handle cracking, splitting, or warping. Additionally, because of the simple design I don't get bits of batter or dough stuck along the edge of the handle. The handle it has, however, would be the biggest question for me as a buyer... will it fit right, or feel right, in my hand? ... It works perfectly for me. I'm very comfortable using it, and depending on how you hold it (thumb inside, or reversed against the flat back) you have a different angle and amount of pressure for different jobs. There's a bevel on the back side which gives it a little bit of sharpness, but it's not so sharp it would cut you; and unlike some scrapers I've had, the ends are rounded so it won't prick you either. Additionally, because it's stainless steel it's rigid and doesn't flex. I mainly use it for pastry sheets, separating bread doughs and making pastas - and in that regard the ruler on the front can be somewhat helpful. Normally because of its design I can just rinse it off, but if it gets a bit messy (making caramel, etc.) it can go right in the dishwasher. 5Excellent Quality Tool!My husband took mine to his shop to use in cleaning/scrapping citric and clay mixtures. He loves it! In the past the scrappers they were using would bend or break within the first week. This bad boy has been used hard for 8 months now with no damage at all. I got another one for the kitchen (I hide it!) I love it for so many kitchen uses- making pasta, bread, pie dough, hand pies, moving cut vegetables from cutting board to cook pan, etc... This is a sturdy handy tool! Hint: buy 2 for when your husband/ wife steals one! 5Good quality constructionGood quality construction. Took off one star based on the open design. Very easy to get food stuff inside the curl and can be difficult to clean sometimes. I ended up getting a round brush that fits in which helps. Solid scraper though for sure. 4
