Granddaughter likes it! I bought this for my one year old granddaughter for Christmas. She's enjoying it as her little house! Kid tested, works well. 5A great buy! I had a ton of baby toys that needed a home, and this fit the bill! It's not HUGE, I would say "medium" sized. It is large enough for a small child to climb in and play, however, which is of course a necessity for little ones! I love that the lid doesn't lock down or secure or anything, making it much safer for little ones. It just kind of "sits" on top. It's a lid - but not. I like that. Very sturdy, and comes ready to set out. Definitely a great buy! 5Perfect Toy Box for Tiny Tots Sturdy, easy to clean, easy for my tiny tots to use. The gender neutral color is perfect for my boy and girl twins who have a gender neutral play room. This was a perfect addition with plenty of room for all their small toys. To give you a visual, I could fit eight 1-gallon jugs of water inside and still have room left over. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that the lid has no way of attaching to the box. There is no hinge or anything. The lid just floats on top of the opening. I guess that makes it easier for kids to get in and out of, but I figure when it comes time for them to do actual art projects we are going to need a more sturdy solution. A second clamp for the paper would have been nice as well, so each kids could have a project going. That's probably only a mom of twins would think about though. Still, I love this toy box, especially at the price it was when I bought it. 55 stars! The lid doesnt lock or click into place, at first i was upset about this but was informed its made to just sit, so children don't suffocate accidentally. Most reviews complain about it, i on the other hand think its a great toy box! Of course its not the 90s toyboxes with the thick plastic, you cant find those anywhere brand new. But it works, its big, its pink "always a plus for my girls" and its great for the price when walmart wants $20 for something made out of cloth thats wayyy smaller. She's happy so we are happy! 5Holds tons of toys! My daughter has accumulated tons of toys. Her stuff had taken over our living room. This toy box helps eliminate some of the clutter. It also has a clip which will be nice when she is older and doing art projects. 5Safe and great size I ordered this toy box for my daughter for Christmas. It came already assembled inside a big box. Box-ception. My first concern before seeing it was if there was a lock on the box and holes in it. I know in a box this large my daughter would want to climb inside and hide. Very fortunately, the lid doesn't lock on the box, and there's even space when you place the lid on for air flow. That being said, this toy box made my daughter very happy and now her toys are stored properly and I am happy as well. 5Sturdy, holds a lot, not too big Holds a lot but is small enough to be out of the way. We have it in our living room for our 14 month old (she likes to climb in it for fun). 5Highly Recommend Step2 always produces high quality products and this is no exception. They're light but sturdy. When I first took it out of the box, I thought it was going to be way too small for what I needed for but it has a deceiving capacity. It holds much more than it looks like it will. Only complaint, which isn't significant enough to change my 5 star rating is that the lid is not attached in any way so it's usually just propped in the corner till night time pick-up. However, I knew that prior to purchase and it is not that big of a deal for us. Great quality for the price and is low enough to the ground that my one and two year olds can easily remove any toys they are looking for. 5A big toy box for a big kid. My mom got this for my sons 4th bday and he loves it. It's spacious enough for him to throw his toys in but see and recognize what's in it and he loves messing around drawing on the board when he can take the 5m out of his day when he isn't napping to stop for a bit. The colors are bright and perfect for his little corner of the family room and also matches his room's decor when the time comes to ship his little bum up to his bedroom semi-permanently (in terms of where he'll be playing mostly).We love it because it feels really solid, not flimsy like a lot of other plastic storage boxes and is really roomy. It's a grand departure from all the paper-y toy boxes and organizers we've come accustomed to. This one's for the big kids! 5
