    Excellent table for ages 2-8Excellent table. My son is 6 1/2, and I was concerned that he would be too old for this. (He desperately needs an art table and I desperately need him off our kitchen table, and he is too young and messy for big wooden desk). This table is perfect for him - In my opinion, the stools it comes with are good for ages 2-5; for children older than 5, use a shorter wooden chair or stool and it will fit perfectly. The small wooden chair I use is 1 - 2 inches shorter than the plastic stool, and he will use this great table for years. I can even sit and draw :)Also, the desk area is wide and spacey, really great for one kid to spread out or two kids to share. Lots of storage space!It was easy to install, just a couple of big pieces to snap together and a few screws to hold them in place (I did this myself in 5-10 mins using a small electric screwdriver, and I'm not handy with tools).I highly recommend this product. 5A COOL KIDDIE TOOLMy 3 year old loves it! Paint, crayons, water colors, markers, and pencils have a place within easy reach. Also places and spaces for fresh brushes, water to clean brushes, and paper. Doing printouts from ABCMouse is blowing through ink faster than a Southern family reunion going through sweet tea. A master piece is painted, colored, or sketched on a daily basis, and posted on the fridge. Need to move it, no problem! It's lightweight and pretty sturdy. 5In love !If I could give it 10 stars I would. I only had to put some contact paper over it to preserve it a little longer. Plus, it makes the messes much easier to clean up. LOVE THIS. My son is 20 months old and uses this table daily. I bought this one because of the fact that it converts to a two child table. It is a great little table. I have a 7 year old too and I love that it becomes a two sided art space. The storage is wonderful, surface easy to clean and it's sturdy. My only improvement would be the stools but for little kids, they work fine. I made a slight improvement and purchased battery powered LED lights that click on/off and stuck them up under the storage canopy, they make great lights for better seeing! It was a hard decision, all the Step 2 desks looked nice. Took me about 20 minutes to put it together. (58 yrs young, female) Some reviews said there were no holes drilled for screws. There were indentations & all you had to do was put alittle pressure on you screwdriver & they went right in. Looking to get many, many years out of this desk. 5
