Best clothes hamper I've ever had!I bought these in February of 2017 and still look brand new!! If you want a strong tightly stitched and reinforced mesh hamper, this is the one you want. I had ordered two matching mesh hampers from Walmart and the handles broke the very first time I picked them up. But these, not only my laundry but a small bottle of Tide, my fragrance crystals and dryer sheets in the side pockets. Best part they weren't anymore expensive than what I got at Walmart. I've had a stroke and live in a community for elderly disabled, so they're perfect for walking to the laundromat here on the property, the handles are sturdy and when half full it's easy to carry both at one time. I keep one in my bath and the second hamper is just an extra for me on days I do rugs and curtains, so I love that the extra one folds up so flat you can put it anywhere. I was frustrated with the other ones I bought, I googled and these were listed on the top 5 best mesh hampers, so they get a big 5 stars from this old lady! If I had any complaint, it would be that they don't come in more colors, I just did my bathroom in Georgia Peach and white colors. :) Would recommend! The picture was taken today to show you how well they have held up. 5Storage foldable pop-up laundry hampersI love these hampers because they are easy to carry and they keep laundry organized utilizing minimum space. The only drawback on these particular hampers is that they are a little smaller than the ones I had previously, but that is only a slight problem. I would highly recommend these hampers to everyone, because they are easier to handle than the old fashioned laundry basket. They take up less space and are much easier to carry around. 4wire frame sleeve not very durable, but overall a good dealAt this point we've had them for 2.5 years, and my boys definitely mashed them a few times. We didn't find the fabric to be especially durable, however, specifically the fabric that enclosed the wire frames, which wore through long ago, allowing the wire frames to emerge, get caught on stuff, and separate at the attachment. There are some tears in the mesh, too. Definitely tough wire, though, the connector is solid and it can be reconnected, they still hold laundry, and they still fold flat, albeit with wire frames sticking out. For ten bucks for two, good deal; for the nineteen bucks I paid in 2015, a bit less so. I can stand replacing a well-used item every couple of years, but will probably try another brand. One of the smaller costs of life. Now, if StorageManiac could reinforce the wire frame sleeve with better fabric, it would approach perfection. 3Best Portable Hamper Ever!WOW! I wasn't expecting much for the price but wow! These are really well built and very durable. They have been overloaded, thrown down stairs, which yes you shouldn't do, but I have to go up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to washing machine and they are holding strong. They fold up no problems and can be hidden away if I ever can have one empty long enough lol. I purchased 3 sets of these because they come in a set of 2 and trust me they are well worth it. My mom has styles similar to these I think she got for a real cheap price and its one of those you get what you pay for. I am making my mom buy these for sure. It's worth spending the few extra dollars more for something that it going to last much longer. I HIGHLY recommend these! Thank you Storagemaniac for such an awesome hamper! 5Handle may let go if over packedI have had this hamper for over a year. One handle has come undone on one side. The handle did not rip, the material it was sewn to did not rip, it looks like the stitching from the handle disappeared???? I want to try and hand stitch it with a thicker thread though it may be difficult due to the thickness of the handle material. The other hamper i have is still fine. Honestly it probably let loose due to the over packing that these hampers get on a continuous basis. I put so much clothes in it that i push the close down like garbage in your kitchen garbage pail. Still use them all the time. 4This basket is so STURDY!My husband and I own a cleaning business and have been looking for a folding basket sturdy enough to transport dirty rags from job sites to laundry. The rags are typically damp and heavy. Other portable baskets we have tried had two major flaws. Number one: They fell apart quickly because the mesh and wire frame were cheap and flimsy. The mesh and frame on this basket are so sturdy compared to anything else we have tried. Number two: The handles of the other baskets are narrow and soft which makes it difficult to carry a fully loaded (remember damp means HEAVY!) basket without cutting into your hands. I had just about given up before we found these. We love the side pockets because we can throw used gloves in at the end of a job to keep them separate from the regular laundry. Our laundry hampers unfortunately broke again while my wife was was trying to put all the dirty cloth in and she urged me to buy a high-quality hamper this time. I searched around Amazon and this Foldable Pop-Up Mesh Laundry Hamper from StorageManiac has pretty good review and it uses steel frame so I made the purchase.PROs:- This StorageManiac laundry hamper is indeed sturdy. I can feel the difference in quality between this and the cheaper one right away. When I push around the frame and the hamper mesh, the do bounce back and stay in shape quickly. We like the reinforced handle a lot because it's strong enough to carry a lot of clothes.- It's foldable and a wrapping straps is included when it comes. When not used, we just fold it and leave it in a drawer. The diameter is around 8.5" when folded and it's a very thoughtful design. Please see my picture to see how compact it is.- There is a side pocket for more storage. My wife likes that she can put her personal items in the bag as it's not transparent.- It can hold a lot of stuffs inside. I didn't expect this until we started to replace our baskets with this. Please see my pictures showing that the hamper holds as much stuffs as an over-filled basket. Also it's much easier to carry them now inside the hamper comparing to using a basket.- It has 3 sides of mesh for ventilation so the cloth inside can breathe. This is very important for us as we don't have a window in our bathroom.Overall we like this StorageManiac Foldable Pop-Up Laundry Mesh Hamper a lot and it comes with 2 in the package with a fair price tag. Do give this laundry hamper a try if you're looking for quality. 5Great item with several changes necessary.I purchased these based on good reviews about how they stand up better than some others. They do stand firm & hold lots of items. What I think needs improvement is either the spring wire that they stand on or the fabric used to cover the wire. The wire needs to come together at some other location than the bottom because where it meets causes a notch that wears through the covering fabric quickly. Also the wire is somewhat sharp & cuts through the fabric in surrounding areas. Good thing I am a seamstress becauseI had to pad all the bottom wires and then sew a heavier covering fabric over the entire bottom supports. Turned out to be quite labor intensive & time consuming. With some small changes from the manufacturing company I could easily give them 5 stars. I am Mrs. Hilsmeier, not Bob. 3Work Well, Store Well - Good Deal All AroundI have several of the pop-up mesh hampers and these alone are by far my favorite. They have a nice, wide opening to easily stuff things in, along with the handles which makes moving it around very easy. They also have the deep pocket in the front, the dark blue section, which can hold a surprising amount of things. The equally great thing is, when not in use, it will fold and turn into a very flat object, making storing simple, not taking up hardly any space. They flatten out so fast. It's simple, you just hold, push & it's flat & will stay that way, no need to tie it down or adjust anything. Other hampers will spiral down, flatten that way then one must hook the loop on both sides to get it smaller for storage. Those are more bulky and not as flat as these plus there can be much effort shoving them down then hooking them to keep them flat. These foldable hampers are just right on all counts. They are nice to have around & I plan to order more for other uses besides laundry. 5...very sturdy!!I love mesh hampers because they are so easy to transport to the laundry room or the laundry mat. This one is very sturdy, I love the large side pocket, the handles don't nearly sever your fingers off, it is very well made, easy to fold (though I had a little trouble folding it in a circle) to put it in a closet for storage, and the price was fantastic...getting a few more for gifts and a few college students. 5
