    ***A+ on Quality, Usability, Best Option on Market******Overview***For the past 6 years I have used paper wall calendars for EVERYTHING and just decided to go with this alternative for this year. After spending far longer than any human should spend researching dry erase wall calendars (a few days and probably a good 4-5 hours before making a decision), I landed on this gem from Board Dudes. The calendar is true to size (16"x20") with a 5/16" border and the individual days measure roughly 2 1/4" side by 2 1/2" tall, providing ample room for notes if using a fine tip marker.Delivered, it comes with:- the calendar- a paper sheet with ruler markings for marking where to drill holes in the wall (if you attach it that way)- dry wall anchors and screws- one fine tip marker (good quality) and clip to attach marker to calendar- 2 magnets***Pros***- ample writing space- rigid material- strong magnets (not the cheap stuff most of the competitors use)- relatively good marker (and has a fine tip which is good for this calendar)- best organizational setup out of any of the calendars I came across- Easy to clean, unlike many cheap dry erase boards (trust me, I have 4 dry erase boards in my room, all from different manufacturers, different sizes, and for different purposes, plus, I write on other peoples' whiteboards almost daily in my line of work)***Cons***- A little bit pricey, but it's definitely worth the few extra bucks- Mounting is easy, but because you basically put the screws in the wall and then slide the calendar (which has 2 washer shaped prongs on the back that you bend out and then slip over the screw heads) onto the screws, the top of the calendar sticks out a little further than the bottom. I remedied this by adding some 2 sided foam tape on the bottom to level it out and keep the board rigid to the wall.Overall, a good buy and I can tell it is going to hold up for a solid amount of time. Let me save you the time of researching other calendars, BUY THIS ONE. 5Cleaned Up My College ScheduleI was so glad I bought this. I really organized my life after using the board. It came in a nice package and undamaged. I bought new colors and it really made the board pop. I really do recommend it to anyone in college with a schedule as crazy as mine. 5very usefulI got this because I didnt want to keep buying calendars every year. Ive had it for about 3 months now and have no complaints at all! I got dry erase markers, a magnetic marker holder and a magnetic eraser from target and they work great too. I dont have any problems with ink stains or anything else. The board was not damaged during shipping either, surprisingly too cos I know how squished the boxes can get during shipment. I highly recomment this, its good for reminders but the squares are too small if you want to write a detailed itinerary 5Metal loops are very fragileSo on the first try at hanging this on the wall, the metal loops broke off (see picture) other than that the magnetic board is nice. But that why I only gave it 2 stars, we had to use double sided foam tape and pray that it will hold. 2Nice calendar board, but flawed mounting bracketsLet me begin with stating that I really like the board. It's sleek, well laid out, and I love that it's magnetic so you can hang small notes. For me, this board is a perfect fit for where I need it; not too small and not too big - just right. The only thing that I felt was cheap and poor quality with this board was the two mounting brackets in the back; there's a small, paper thin mounting bracket on each side.I installed the hanging screws into the wall as required and simply just hung the board up on the wall - easy! Unfortunately, I turned my back for a minute and the board came crashing down on itself; the mounting brackets are so thin and weak that it couldn't support it's own weight and the one brackets snapped. Thankfully I had a laundry basket under it at the time, so the board was not damaged from the fall.I'll attempt to epoxy/glue these brackets on the back for more surface area support and see if they hold up. Normally I would just drill a small hole through the end of the bracket and screw them in on the back for a more secure hold, but the board is pretty thin itself and I don't want to risk damaging the board and even risk going through the board.I would have given this board 5 stars because it really is a nice calendar board, but to go so cheap on the mounting brackets is just poor quality control. I decided to give this a 3 since the board isn't damaged and I'm pretty sure I can secure a better mounting option; however, if it would have fallen on the ground and broke - it would have been easily a 1 star. 3Marker ink shrivels upI wish I could write a good review. In 2012 I bought this exact same board, and it has worked great for over five years. Through multiple moves it became scratched and eventually, it warped suddenly (possibly to due large temp changes on the house) and beyond usability. However that one had worked so well that I replaced the old board with the exact same one. Unfortunately this one does not seem to hold the ink. The marker included seems to work ok but the tip is so fine that I can't read it from a distance. Regular expo markers (which worked fine on the old board) do not seem to work. The ink shrivels up on the board! Thinking there might be some sort of film on the board leftover from production, we have scrubbed the board with a dry paper towel, then a wet paper towel, with no improvement. Then we bought expo spray and scrubbed some more with that repeatedly. There was some improvement but the ink still shrivels noticeably even after all that effort (see pic). My old board did not require any elbow grease. I will be buying a different dry erase calendar product. 1Great idea for a productGreat idea for a product, terrible quality control. The board was warped, so there is a huge bubble in the middle. The replacement board was the same! It has the ability to hose either written words or pictures, than can in turn be erased then re-mastered. Since my brain functions much like Dory's from Nemo, this has helped me remember where I am and what I'm doing, provided I'm in front of it using my ocular orbs of enlightenment. Get it, use it, don't lick it. 5Okay... but bargain bin mounting and quality controlDefinitely get what you pay for here. As other people experienced, mine came scratched. Sunday has some of the paint scratched off and the notes section has 3 streaks of missing paint scratched off across it.Additionally, the mounting hardware that comes with it works on its own and the brackets to mount seem to work on their own, but they do not function together. The screws supplied are too large to fit into the mounting tabs.The instructions literally say to screw the screws into the wall (through the drywall brackets they call 'mollies') and THEN hang the board onto the screws. This is 100% impossible with the screws they provide as the screw heads are LARGER than the holes in the mounting tabs.I'm installing now using my own screws that I had left over from a desk with appropriately sized screw heads - we'll see if it works! 3Faulty/Cheap mounting hardware... beware!Needed to replace my old ones, as they had been well-used for years and the 'erasability' had seen better days. I had the 17" x 23" size with cork board below, note space to the left and a medium-sized calendar to the right. I chose the 16" x 20" to get the larger calendar, willing to give up the cork boards.The new boards arrived quickly and look great, except the cheap metal hanging 'hardware' attached to the boards. The Easy Mount measuring strip was helpful, and after drilling holes, placing the plastic mollies and screws, I was ready to hang the board... only the thin metal tab snapped off of the back of the board! Attempted super-glue to no avail, the metal-on-metal wasn't happening. Tried hot glue... temporary hold but didn't support the weight of the board. Short of ordering another board, I'm stuck... I definitely do not recommend if you plan to hang this calendar. 2
