    The wires that came with this are too long and ... The wires that came with this are too long and the handle flexes too much. I've tried using it a few times now and ended up completely frustrated and unable to even get one slice cut. 1Disappointed I can t get the wire to stay attached. This was a wasted purchase. I definitely can t use it to cut soap. I m not sure how well it would slice cheese. 1Disappointed This item is cheaply made and broke the first time I attempted to use it. The wire is too thin and the arm flexes. It's not up to the pressure it takes to cut a single slice of cheese. I wish I hadn't purchased it. I'd give it zero stars if I had the option. 1A little disappointing for me! Do not like this like I thought I would. The arm that holds the wire is crooked and we haven't been able to straighten it. The wire cuts down into a grove making it harder to clean. It is useable but not the "makes my life easier thing" I was looking for! 2I purchased this item as a gift. I recently ... I purchased this item as a gift. I recently heard from the person I got this for that it does not work at all/will not assemble. Since then, a group of 5 of us each tried for about 15-30 min each to assemble the item with no luck. The wire does not line up/is not long enough to allow assembly/use of the item. Because I did not hear from the person I got this for until recently that it does not work, I am unable to return the item. 1Two Stars The wire stretched on a soft cheddar cheese. had to use the replacement wire same day I received it 2Wire is hard to put on - it was loose and broke Wire is hard to put on - it was loose and broke - Lasted about 1 week. I had to order new wires so I could use it. After connecting the new wire to the wood block it worked fine. 3Broke 1st day I did not like one thing about this item I purchased. It will NOT slice ANY kind of cheese. It broke after the 2nd time of trying to slice. I will never purchase from this buyer again 1Don t buy! Doesn t work. Horribly cheap product! Came with two wire cutters. Original wire was loose. Reinstalled, tightened it up, and the wire stretched and wouldn t slice the cheese. Put the extra wire on, and it also stretched. Totally worthless. Was unable to cut a single slice of cheese. 1
