    At Last!Finally! I can drink REAL wine again! Never again will I have to scour the wine shops for decent sulfite-free wines. I ve been using my Ullo filter for over six months now and have not had a single reaction. My family is thrilled that I am able to drink wine again because when Mama s happy, everyone s happy! 5Expensive but reliableThis is a great product for headache prone wine drinkers. Even some nice wines have way too many sulfites, so this was really helpful for my husband and I. That being said, you use 1 filter per every bottle of wine. This can get pricey and no matter who you buy extra filters from, it's always over $30 for a 10 pack. There is an issue with the "sand" in the filters as well. It can create a residue film in your wine after filtering, but that can be avoided by rinsing the filter with a little water before you pour wine. I only took the perfect rating away for the two reasons listed (expensive and residue), people should know it's not a perfect product, but it's miles above the 2 day migraines I used to get after drinking wine. 4Can't drink my wine without itMy hubbie got me the whole set after I had a few hangovers from drinking my wine. I was surprised that it actually worked. No more headaches or hangovers, and now I notice if I'm at a restaurant or someone's house and I drink wine that hasn't been filtered. I ALWAYS get a headache, it's awful. But at home, I cannot drink my Cabernet without it! Totally worth the price. It doesn't work on some wines, though. When we have guests and they use it for their sweeter wines, like Moscato, I notice it doesn't work as well. It'll just sit there and drip so slowly you'll go mad. I assume the sugar is what's clogging the filter.I haven't tried it on Port, white wines, zin, or cheap wines (you know- the kind on the bottom shelf), so I can't say if they filter those well or stop hangovers.But if you're a Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinot Noir drinker, this is for you. 5Effective, but not cheap.Box arrived with at least 1 filter defective, in that the filtering material was not inside the filter but all over the bottom of the bag. At $3 per filter, and 1 filter per bottle, a defective filter is not acceptable.The llo filtering system is used to remove sulphide from wines, and it seems to work, but it seems expensive. I am allergic to sulpha chemicals and these filters seem to work - no symptoms after sharing about 5 bottles of wine. If you enjoy wine, but need to get rid of the sulphide, you might want to give these filters a try. 3You'll never drink wine the same again!These things are life-changing! I know that sounds dramatic but seriously they make SUCH a huge difference. My husband and our friends had me convinced that it was all "placebo" and that my lack of headaches was just in my head. Well let me tell you, my Ullo wasn't clean one night so I just drank a couple of glasses of wine without filtering them and I was MISERABLE the next day. You would have thought I tore up the town the night before the way my head hurt. Now I'll just skip the wine if my Ullo isn't clean which is a biiiiig deal for me! Totally recommend these and the filtration device! 5Amazing ProductI originally found this product at Costco and purchased it for a Fathers Day gift for my Wine Snob Husband. He drinks only the best wine and has every accouterment that is known to man....but this came out and I thought, Well, this is something he doesn't have. I didn't even care if it worked (to be honest:) it was just something he didn't have....as it turns out this is one of his favorite wine toys! it makes his amazing wine taste even better!!! I think it blows his mind as much as mine. Anyway, if your on the fence about this product, don't be, it really does make great wine better! It really softens the Tannins and takes out the Sulfates...It's 100% worth it!! Love this product....maybe because my husband Loves it! 5It really works! llo saved my ability to drink wines, especially red wine. Before llo I could only drink a sip or two before allergies to sulfites and tannins would kick in. Now I can llo any bottle I buy and enjoy a glass or even two. Woot! 5I decided to purchase the Ullo Filters (I opted to just buy the replacement filters as I saw another comment about using a funnel rather than buying the expensive and hard to use device for these which was much cheaper and easy to do)After researching extensively on options for 'anti-hangover' products for wine, I decided to purchase the Ullo Filters (I opted to just buy the replacement filters as I saw another comment about using a funnel rather than buying the expensive and hard to use device for these which was much cheaper and easy to do). For hangovers, I will say HANDS DOWN this product WORKS. We have used the filter on a variety of different bottles of wine (from $10 - $50 bottles) and no hangover every single time we used it (we drank bottles without in between to ensure no placebo effect).The downside to using these filters are: 1) it changes the taste of the wine and not in an enhancing way (I had read some people thought it was similar to decanting and this is simply just not true). The taste of the wine is not as great as it would be without the filter so I would recommend not using it on your more expensive bottles. 2) It's an all or nothing. One filter is good for one bottle of wine so if you just want to use in on a glass, you're wasting a packet and you can't really save the filter to use later. 3) Any wine not drank that night doesn't keep. We tried filtering the wine and only drinking half the bottle (one glass each) and then sealing up the remainder of the wine but it was horrible the next day.Overall I would recommend using this product if you want to avoid a hangover. The product works for that for sure. For nicer bottles, consider decanting and drinking in moderation. 4I think it works!Okay, look. I'm not a scientist, but I will tell you this...I would regularly get hangovers with wine...even just with 2 glasses before bed. I've been using this thing for 4 months now and I have NOT had a single hangover...that includes times when I drink a bottle in a night (whoops). 5This really really worksFirst I didn't believe the wine was causing her headache's. She use to always drink a bottle of wine on the weekend and not have any problems then all of the sudden she getting headaches after just having one glass of Wine. They would last for 3 to 4 days and sometimes cause her to lose work. Then I saw this Ullo product and side what the hell bought the kit and she used the filters and the next day no headaches. This is a 3rd reorder because this product really worked for her. What else can I say. 5
