    Very adjustable and sturdyI got this because the cheap TV I bought online was completely missing the screws necessary to attach the base to it. I'm very happy with this stand since I feel it supports the TV much better than the standard base would. It has a large variety of mounting options, with two metal peices connecting to the back of the TV, and then hooking onto and attaching to the stand. It comes with a wide variety of screws to fit the bolt holes on the back of many different sizes of TVs, and includes quite a few plastic spacer washers to make sure the screws don't bottom out in the bolt holes.When putting the whole thing together, the best way to do it is to build the base, but leave the final plate unattached to the stand. The parts that mount to the back of the TV should be mounted in whatever configuration fits the TV and is easy to attach the screws. When attaching the parts to the back of the TV, the hooked part should be placed at the top of the TV with the hooks opening down toward the bottom of the TV. The instructions on this part don't actually contain any words, and the pictures in the instructions are really unclear about which part of the TV is the top. Once the brackets are mounted to the back of the TV, the deepest part of the hook should be measured to the lowest part of the TV. This is the minimum height from the top of the plate that's going to be attached to the mount base to the base itself. The mounting plate can then be attached to the base stand, The attachments to the back of the TV can then be hooked over the top of the mounting plate and some screws tightened to hold the hooks in place.This whole stand was clearly designed carefully, so don't ignore the maximum measurements they provide. The mounting hole placements on the back of the TV and the height from those holes to the bottom of the TV are very important measurements since they are limited by the width of the mounting plate and the height of the stand. I mounted a 32" TV on this and had to locate the mounting plate one notch from the top, so I'm not sure how feasible it would be to mount a 60" TV like they suggest. The 32" TV does have the remains of the stock stand attached to the bottom though (since it can't be removed) so it adds an extra 1.5" to the bottom distance that otherwsie wouldn't be there.Even with a TV mounted very high up on the possible height adjustment notches, this stand feels extremely sturdy. I would feel very comfortable with having a much heavier TV mounted on it and wouldn't be concerned about the stability at all.5Simple, stable and looks niceArrived on time.Directions were just pictures but its a simple assembly. Use your common sense. Only problem was 1 warped wing nut. I was able to force it on with pliers.No problems mounting the TV (a 22" Vizio M220VA). Came with several sets of different size screws and extra spacers so finding the right fit and screw length was no problem. The vertical piece comes with many sets of holes so you can mount the back bracket and thus the TV higher or lower depending on the size of your TV.Its solid, stable and it looks nice. Exactly as pictured.4RecommendI bought this because when I bought my house the previous owner left a perfectly good flat screen TV. It was on a wall mount which I didn't want so I took it down, but it didn't have a stand. So I found this, and I'm glad I bought it. It did take some time to put together, but it wasn't too bad. You just have to take your time and follow the instructions. I was lucky that I kept the screws from the wall mount for the TV so I just matched them up to the many screws that were provided with this stand to find the ones that fit best. I did have some issues with the mounting plate and had to unscrew it, and re-mount it several times, but it was only because I didn't have it at the right height. The first time it was too low and they recommend air flow below the TV. The second time I felt it was too high. Finally I got it right, and it was fine, but this was totally user trial and error. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, it seems to be holding up fine. No issues as of yet!5Good TV standIt fits my LG 20 in LCD TV perfectly. The instructions aren't the most clear but you generally figure out where they were going with it pretty quickly once you start looking at all of the pieces. The base is tempered glass which makes it a bit heavy, but it feels like good quality because of it. The pictures are a bit misleading though as it is shorter than what the image shows, but if you are mounting a smaller tv anyhow you shouldn't run into problems. I had to work around the brackets that go on the tv though, as the way they are usually supposed to go blocked my hdmi port, so you may have to play around with them to keep everything unblocked and accessible. Overall a good TV stand in a market that is hard to find them in.5Recommended without hesitationSolid build quality and gorgeous design come together in this surprisingly affordable universal TV stand, a huge improvement over the flimsy Samsung stock base. Took me 20 minutes to assemble and I doubt anything, even two scheming cats bent on knocking anything table-bound to the floor, can move this beauty. Highly recommended.5Good stand but frustrating assembly process. Be prepared to provide your own screws.This is a very sturdy stand for my 32 inch TV. However, the directions were very poor and the screws to mount the TV to the stand did not fit. There were several size screws provided and the directions said that they would fit "most every size television on the market" but they were either too big, too small or too short for my SAMSUNG TV. Seriously? Their screws did not fit my major brand TV. I had to check the TV manual to find information on the correct size screw and then dive into my supply of screws and washers to find ones that would work. My TV is now mounted on the stand and I'll have to say that it's very sturdy and heavy. It was just very frustrating and time-consuming to provide my own screws.2Highly recommend - Well made and sturdyProduct well made and sturdy though a bit larger than I anticipated. For me, the instructions were quite adequate and easy to follow. I found the item quick to assemble, especially since I've been assembling furniture kits for many years and am relatively used to this kind of stuff. Really appreciated all the variety of screws to attach TV, since the screws that came with the set were long gone. Also, that will give me proper screws if I change TV size. The one thing I high recommend is that felt or some other protective material be attached to the "feet" on the under side. Otherwise, it will scratch and mar furniture. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the purchase.4I've read the bad reviews for this product and I have to wonder ...I've read the bad reviews for this product and I have to wonder if we are talking about the same product. It is not flimsy plastic parts. The base is tempered glass and the structural parts are heavy metal. The only plastic is the end caps, and they are a heavy plastic. The instructions are not mostly pictures (although there are lots of helpful pictures) and are not hard to understand. If you have ever assembled anything, you will find these instructions very clear - some of the best assembly instructions I ever used. The product was very well packaged.I attached it to a 32" Samsung and it fit perfectly. Very, very sturdy and much better than the flimsy stand that came with the TV. I did have to experiment with the positioning of the TV on the supports, but that was a minor adjustment. I don't know if it fits other TVs, but they include lots of alternate hardware (different size screws and spacers) so I would think it would fit most TVs in the stated range. I never write reviews, but this was one of the best products I ever bought. It exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased.5Replacement stand Lost the original stand for a flat screen TV after wall mounting.This fit the bill and is actually pretty nice looking and durable.Moral of the story ... Save your TV stand in case you ever need it! 5I'd recommend if you don't mind putting it together, but it's a good stand.Good high quality TV stand. I used it for a 32 inch Samsung and it certainly could handle something bigger. It doesn't wobble, and even though you'll only see the flat base when looking at the TV from the front, it is a good looking stand. The only negative is that it's a bit difficult to assemble. Maybe I should say 'difficult," but the packaging mine came in was basically flat, sort of pancaked with not more than a few inches of depth. So it takes about 30 minutes to assemble it all, and I was tad nervous it wasn't going to be sturdy enough because the vertical posts or flagpole-like posts you screw perpendicular into the flat base are pretty skinny, but once finished it was just fine.5Does its job.Purchased this stand to place a flat-screen TV on it in my motorhome. The RV originally had the old-style TV inserted into a cabinet. This was taken out about five years ago and replaced with the flat screen. I converted the empty space into shelving for a Direct TV receiver and DVD player. The stand sits on a bookcase. The stand is well made and quite heavy to prevent it from toppling. Four rubber pads keeps it from scratching the bookcase. It was easy to put together. Like any product that is designed for use on several makes and models of other products, there were a lot of parts left over. Save them. Any can often find another use for them!5
