Love it!We used the Olive Kids brand with our older son, and started the same with our younger son. They are a good brand and lasted a long time for both boys. Since our second son has an extra year in daycare, we decided it was time for a new napper. We found Urban Infant when searching this time around.What I love similar to Olive Kids: removable plush pillow, thick material for both the blanket and the part they lay on, it holds up and can stand to be washed many times overWhat I love better than Olive Kids: the blanket is a bit warmer (says the 4 year old), there is no velcro to hold it together when it is rolled up, the elastic straps are great to secure it to the nap base at the daycare and to hold it all together when it is rolled up, there is a little pocket to keep his favorite stuffed animal in when he sleeps, the space to write his name in on the napper (for Olive Kids, we wrote it on the tag and after many many washings, the tag pretty much disintegrated.We have had it since September and it has held up to weekly (or more frequent) washings so far. I don't have any concerns that it will last as long as the Olive Kids ones did.5Just buy it!!!I was unsure if my daughter would like this, but with her impending switch of preschools I figured I would give it a shot. She usually took a crib sheet and blanket to preschool and in the few times I would pick her up during nap time she always wiggled her blankets and sheets off and was just sleeping on a cot. I took the tot cot out of the package and was impressed with how durable and padded it felt, I laid it on the floor to get an idea of size and my daughter crawled in and covered herself. I washed it per instructions, and to make the transition easier for her, I put her old blanket under the attached blanket and a new small soft doll in the toy pocket. It rolled up without any issues from the extra blanket and doll and an added perk the underside of the mat is on outside so the interior where they sleep remains clean. All in all really happy with this purchase.5Is going to last her whole daycare careerI purchased this mat in October 2015 for my 18 month old. It has been washed every single week for over 2.5 years. My daughter is starting her last year of Pre K and it is definitely going to hold up until graduation. It has been awesome. A small amount of stitching came apart on the first washing. So initially I was expecting it to fall apart. But, no other stitching has come apart. The cover hasn't faded out either. The fleece blanket part is of course pilled, but that is to be expected. And the little pillow got lost (obviously no fault of the product). It's been a great little nap mat and looks super cute. I'm surprised more people don't purchase this. Every Sunday, I wash it and roll it and it's good to go. I roll up a second blanket inside of the mat so she has something better to cover her. But it's pretty much self contained. The other parents bring in a giant bag of blankets and stuff, I just don't get it. This is great product.5I absolutely love this nap matI absolutely love this nap mat. However, it must be noted, that although this is one of the longest nap mat's that I've found, it is still too small for my 4.5 year old toddler who is almost 43" tall. Because the built in blanket is sown in at the feet, even is she was a little too tall for it, she can't stick her feet out, unless she just keeps herself uncovered. Otherwise, I love everything else about it. My daughter is not a napper at school at all anyway, so I basically bought this to prevent her from lying down on the bare mats and have her touch who knows what. What I love about this nap mat is that it doesn't have any stuffing so it is just basically a really nice cover for the padded mat that she has at school and the pillow is removable so washing is very convenient. Once she's done 'resting' for 15 minutes, all the teachers have to do is to roll it up and they're done. The color of the 'poppies' nap mat is just like it is pictured...absolutely beautiful! My son's day care provides cots for all children to sleep on- he is very comfortable on his cot, so purchasing a mat that was really thick wasn't part of my decision making process. I wanted something that was lightweight, easy to wash and cute. This is exactly what I was looking for. The mat itself is somewhat padded (and come on people, this is for a preschooler...have you ever notice where they fall asleep and the positions they sometimes sleep in? My kid would probably rack out on concrete if he was tired enough). It's a high quality cotton. The blanket itself is thin fleece (again, it might be thin, but this product is for a kid who is sleeping FULLY dressed during their nap at school). There is a really cute little pillow insert and a little pocket inside the mat where they can store a lovey or small stuffed animal/doll. We are thrilled with the purchase- it's exactly what we were looking for to send to school with our (almost) 3 year old.5Approved by 18 month old.Bought this after shopping around for a toddler bed. Though it is recommended for 2+ yrs (if I am not wrong). we use it for a 18 month old. Liked the fact that the pillow insert can be removed before washing (once every week). I chose this particular design1. The head and feet areas are not confused. The kids sleep with their shoes on and I am not okay with shoes in the bed. Since the pillow area always remains the same, the feet goes into the same place, hopefully less of germs!2. It dries quickly when laid flat after the wash.3. It rolls up neatly with a carrying handle.4. The green/yellow submarine design is gender neutral and my daughter loves it. The back ground is more grayish than actually pictured.5. The blanket is not thick or thin. It is perfect for naps during the day inside a 70 degree F room.6. I have used it a couple of times without a cot or mattress directly on carpeted floor and heard no complaints.I am not sure where I can purchase replacement pillow inserts because I feel it has gone flat just after few uses. He measures 45 inches in height, and weighs 52lbs. He is a big boy for his age! I hesitated on buying other nap mats because their dimensions were 46in in length, which was only 1 more inch from his height and I didn't think he would fit. This nap mat said it was 52 inches in length but I think it runs a tad smaller than that. However, it's still a good size for my son! I decided to write a review to help other parents with "bigger" kids make a wise decision when before buying. The mat is very pretty and looks like good quality. The blanket is very soft. I haven't washed it yet, and I'm hoping that it doesn't shrink. I plan to wash it with cold water and air dry. I will write another review after first wash. Good Luck!5Nap mat reviewWe bought the green cloud printed one for our green obsessed son. The photo shows a white fleece blanket but it's actually a strange beige/ tan color that doesn't really match. Most of the cool pattern is on the bottom of the mat so you only see it when rolled up. Luckily this is for school and I won't see it much myself because both of those things bother me! What I do like is the hook to hang it in the cubby and the removable pillow, as well as the stuffy pocket.Besides those style decisions, the mat is thin, meant to cover a foam mattress or cot. Although our kid practiced with it on the floor and he may end up using on the carpeted floor at grandmas house, it is definitely not considered padded.My almost 4 yr old is 41" tall, has a cozy fit. He can unroll it himself and sort-of roll it back up. I'm hoping it works length wise for the 2 yrs he'll need before kindergarten.All in all definitely an upgrade from the loose crib sheet / blanket / pillow, could look a little cuter, and be a little longer for older preschool kids.4Awesome cot cover for daycare!Perfect for the blue daycare cots. This is not meant to be a sleeping bag. Some daycares require you to bring a cot cover. They told me I could just buy the fitted sheet for a pack a play mat and bring in a blanket. I saw this as a recomendation on Amazon and thought it was brilliant. A cot cover with a light blanket attached to it. Came with a small pillow too! My daughter is 2 yes old and has plenty of growing room in it. Great quality material was used. I still was it on the gentle cycle, but it's holding up well.5
