Nice tough disposable gloves. Thicker than my Kirkland gloves. Holds up well when I go into deep cleaning mode. I also use them like handy gloves when I am doing mechanical work. Easy to grip screws and other little things. I keep a couple of pairs in my car when I need to do maintenance on my car like check tire pressure or wash my car. Keeps my manicure nice and clean. Also use when cooking/baking, so I don t need to use industrial strength soap to clean under my nails 5Bad batch or the quality is suffering.. I've turned my husband and FIL onto these gloves because they are usually VERY durable, however, I'll think twice before purchasing again after this most recent box. The thumbs and sides are splitting fairly easily with light duty work which is disappointing and dangerous, given what I'm trying to limit my exposure to.Even more disappointing is that this item isn't" eligible for return" despite the fact that they are obviously either defective or the quality had dropped substantially. This box was a total waste of $$. If they offered a replacement, I'd certainly try them again, but since that doesn't appear to be an option, I won't repurchase. 1Best Nitrile Gloves On The Market The nature of the work my crew and I handle can vary from nice, clean days to filthy, wastewater-filled messes.Due to the nature of our work, we need a reliable glove that can protect us from health hazards. For our purposes, these are the best gloves we've used, and we plan to buy cases of them.Our crew regularly exchanges large equipment for wastewater treatment facilities, often working with pumps or motors, and finding sharp corners or strong edges that destroy every glove we've tried. Many guys like wearing leather or cloth gloves, including Mechanix-style, but are quickly upset when liquid, and especially wastewater, soaks through them and leaves them just as exposed as if they didn't wear gloves.One of my guys tried wearing two pair of the thinner nitrile gloves, and found that they tend to rub together and become even weaker than a single pair.And then I bought these.... My crew and I have never been happier. As most guys do, we tried to figure out what would actually tear them, and found that short of a sharp pencil or knife, few things could do it easily. We even attempted pushing a screwdriver through them, simulating a common example in our field. These gloves are the only ones we've found that could handle the tests.I believe these should be standard PPE, and from now on they will be on my trucks. Yes, they make your hands sweat more, and they can get to be a bit much in summer temperatures that soar over 100 degrees, but they are worth every penny you spend on them and any discomfort the sweat causes if you need to protect yourself from health hazards. I absolutely love these gloves. 5Great gloves and will buy more complete garbage! 1st box last year were great as the product states. This batch/series/box is beyond ridiculous. Must have went cheaper materials. Not even a simple oil change that last 30 min and torn... Forget about doing real mechanical work. No bueno! Thumbs down 1Perfect for Hunting A few years ago, we started packing these gloves with us for cleaning animals during a hunt - and I have to say they work perfectly.These gloves are durable, pack up easily in a backpack (I also keep extras in the truck), and make clean-up an absolute breeze.The nitrile gloves are definitely a bit tougher than traditional 'blue' gloves; but, in my experience they're probably 10% less likely to break. It's not a huge difference.Also, I'm 6'7" with large hands - and the Large size works just fine. Personally, I prefer works gloves to be tight so I can feel what I'm working on.Overall, I highly recommend these gloves. For me, a 100-pack easily gets me through 2 seasons (and that includes giving gloves out to other hunters like crazy during the year). 5Double Check the size you choose!!! I think these are the only gloves I need based on the initial fit and look. The only problem is that I tried a pack of medium and a pack of one size fits most. The medium are really tight and the one size fits most are loose. When I went back online I noticed that next to one size fits most down below it says (x-large) . . . I missed that the first time. I do think it is a bit misleading. Why not just put x-large above where it says size (one size fits most); instead, they have four boxes above i.e. med. large, ex-large, and one size fits most; yet when you choose one size fits most, it says x-large next to it, so it's like having 2 extra large sizes. I will try the large next time to see how they fit. 4Worth every penny! These gloves work great! Normal nitrile gloves break shortly after my hand sweats in them. I fully disassembled a bottle jack, cleaned all the metal shavings out that were left in from manufacturing, and reassembled it with no issues with the gloves at all. My cat even attacked my hand while wearing these gloves and his teeth didn t puncture or tear the glove. 5Thank goodness I finally bought the right version of these, and size! Okay, first a little history of my past experience with this brand of gloves. Those godawful Venom Steel Nitrile Gloves they sell in the store (one size fits most), I'm looking at you wally-world, are just awful. I bought these gloves, and at $20 for 100, I figured they'd be amazing. Nope, they tore open every time I used them, and were just terrible for the price I had paid.Now then, I pull the trigger and jump on these in XL, since I have between L & XL hands. Anyways, they show up and right away I can tell an immediate difference in quality. They are reinforced inside with some sort of white interior lining that makes tearing this quite impossible (no impossible if you try, just hear me out). They work well around automotive, and with everything in the yard. Before you say "Yea, well duh." my last gloves didn't. They fell apart while I was just quickly fixing a mulch and lightly used a shovel (wrong glove for the job, again I know, but I had them on in a pinch). Anyways, these gloves? No problem. Shovel with them, use a chainsaw, take the heads off a 6.0 diesel, etc. I'm never going back to any other type of throwaway glove. These are the best ever. Forget the ones in the store, buy them here. 5Good Buy - Lots of Productive Uses These are proving to be useful in a number of ways. Originally, I bought these to pack on the rub and handle raw meat before it makes it to the smoker. They do exceed at this - good news, I really only need one hand with the glove. I have also used them for first aid - applying ointments / salves. Work for cleaning grungy stuff and are strong enough to handle scrubbing and don't inhibit you from holding tools. Overall, great purchase - however, do not feel like spiderman or anything when wearing these 'Venom' gloves. 5Thicker but not as strong as expected Not as strong as I expected for the price, my first pair ripped inside of 5 minutes when wet sanding a car door with 400 grit. I also (just for grins) tried the stretch and screwdriver test like pictured and they held up but as I experienced in use they seemed to get holes as fast as the regular glove bought from the big membership store (can I say Costco?). I also did the same test with the brand from the Big Box home improvement store (HD) with the same results where they are $5 less per 100. If you're looking for convenience and doorstep delivery then these will work fine but if you want to save a few bucks you know where to go. 2
