He went from "These Fireworks are upsetting me" to "Time for MORE fireworks!!" =-)These are durable enough and are worth the price.5Good For Noise-Sensitive KidsWe bought these for our 4-yr-old son, who is sensitive to loud noises. They came in handy at loud restaurants, fireworks displays, our daughter's dance recital with loud music, etc. They blocked enough noise to make these situations tolerable for our son, but he was still able to hear us if we talked to him. I would have given these headphones a "5", but our son complains that they start to hurt his ears after wearing them for a while. While the length is adjustable for smaller or larger heads, I can't determine a way to make them looser or tighter.4Thumbs upAs soon as I put these on my kid who needs quiet and can get easily annoyed/distracted by noises, she said, "Oh, I love these!" So there you go. They don't block out everything (such as her little brothers voice when he decides to talk really loud), but they don't advertise themselves as total noise blockers. Comfortable, doesn't give her a headache. Great product.5Absolute life saverI would recommend this product to every parent of an autistic child with sensitive hearing and sensory issues. This was wonderful at our trip to Disneyland. They fit great and he wore them for 12 hours straight. Not only do they block out a great deal of noise, they seemed to give him comfort as well.5
