    Well worth the extra money! Oh, these are gorgeous!!! I have purchased several sets of curtains from Ellis Curtain. The first panel I bought was sort of a trial, as they are expensive. Since they are made in the USA, a thing I try very hard to support, I gave them a shot. They are stitched so well, out of high-quality cotton fabric, it is as if they were custom made. I have half of my windows covered with Ellis Curtains, and plan to get more as I save up my money. I have every expectation that these will last a very long time. And being in some very bright windows, I can tell you that they have been fade-proof over the year they've been in the window. 5Small Grey Spotting; Nice Overall These curtains are beautiful. They're a nice weight; not to heavy, not too light, and able to block out an adequate amount of light. The print is beautiful as well. However, upon opening both sets. little grey spots (also the color pencil lead leaves on your hands if you drag your hand or finger through it) were visible throughout the panels. When hung,the spots are not noticeable. However, for a new item, these should not have been present. I'd still recommend them though because the price for the quality is great. 4Nice curtains The toile pattern is really nice. I got the blue and it is a sort of dusty blue and cream. If you need a pair for a larger window, anything larger than 48" if you want the scrunched look, you will need to order 2 sets. Considering a comparable set from a more expensive retailer is $99 a panel, I will gladly pay for an extra set.Anyways, some other reviewers mentioned that the pattern was upside down. I thought the same thing when I got them, but quickly noticed that there was a space for the curtain rod in the correct direction, it was just pretty small. Luckily, I have a 3/4 inch rod and it fits just fine. Anything larger, though, will not work....unless you want the pattern upside down! On the bottom, the space for the rode is the 3" diameter as they say in the description. It worked out for me, but I can definitely see that being frustrating for others! 4Beautiful addition to my brick colonial! These curtains are beautiful in my dining room. I opted to use them with a shear. If you are not planning to use a shear, I would advise using two sets of curtains for each window. 4Great Curtains and Valance I wanted to change my kitchen curtains over the sink. After looking at what local stores offered I decided to look online and found the Ellis line at different websites. Loved the colors and patterns but wanted better price so I did what I usually do. I got better info on the other websites but price cannot be beat from Amazon.com. These are elegant, made of quality material & workmanship.Hint: I used rings to hang the drapes on tention rod under the valance then I attached clear plastic pulls (for mini-blinds) to the inside top edge of the drapes so I could pull back and forth everyday without actually touching the material. Purchased those at lowes in mini-blind section. 5LOVE this valance. Not white, but looks great in a black/white kitchen anyway This is a better than excellent valance for the price. I bought it for my black & white kitchen - white cabinets & appliances, black granite countertops. I bought it based on many reviews & Q&A that said that it's white. It's not white. However, it doesn't clash with white at all, and looks great on the window flanked by 2 white cabinets. It might help that the window trim isn't perfectly white either. The cabinets, however, are definitely bright white - yet I'm in love with this valance every time I walk into the room, and I'm a stickler for detail and for color coordination. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the strip of checks isn't a strip, but rather an entire separate panel of checks behind the toile. This adds some substance and makes the whole valance drape quite nicely. I do wish that it were lined, but this is incredibly nice anyway, and there's no way you would get a lined valance of this quality for this price. I'm 100% happy with this purchase. 5Toile, toile, toile by Ellis = Loveliness!! These toile Ellis Curtains are really lovely and have added sunshine to our bedroom. I wanted to put them over the new wooden blinds but changed my mind and hung them behind the bed instead and do they ever look fabulous the minute you walk into the room! Ellis products are quality plus fabrics, hang beautifully, and have the plus factor of being sold as a Pair instead of the blasted Single panels that other companies sell. For goodness' sake, curtains should come in pairs and Ellis knows that which is so nice. Order these right now and enjoy your quality curtains! 5I absolutely love them and did purchased another There are no cons to this shower curtain. I absolutely love them and did purchased another. The quality is great and it's held up pretty well in a bathroom used by teenagers who thinks it's a sauna. The pattern doesn't disappoint. Worth every penny spent. 5Finally, I've got toile! The blue of this valence is a very nice blue, very similar to the facebook blue. The quality of the curtain construction is really nice and it comes packaged nicely as well. For my taste, this is perfect for a kitchen, but also would look nice in a bathroom or a girl's room or an eat-in kitchen area window. It is more casual than elegant in feel and look, especially with the checked layer. I'm happy with my purchase. I hope this review helps you decide! 5Nice quality, upscale look This is a nice cotton weave in lieu of the cheap polyester most shower curtains are made of these days.
