it has enough height and enough strength to hold 34 widescreensIt holds my 34 inck wide LG monitor well. 19lbs and have enough height to raise above my laptops. 5Sturdy, versatile, well designed.This product exceeds my expectations. The mount is well engineered, and very rugged. The instructions are easy to follow.I used the included "grommet" mount. You just need to drill a 3/8" hole for the screw to fit through, or you can use an existing grommet hole. There are slots cut in the base so that you can still pass the cables through.Though I didn't need to use it, the clamp-on base appears to be much, much stronger than those you would find on other clamp mounted items, like work lights or vises. My monitor is only 32", but I am confident that the clamp would be solid, even with a much larger TV mounted on this stand.Unfortunately adjustments require the use of allen wrenches (included), but at least there is onboard storage for them, so they are always at hand.Highly recommended. 5Sturdy mount for my ultrawide!I searched high and low for a mount that would hold my Dell 38" Ultrawide monitor and after a few days of reading and scouring, I happened upon this VIVO mount. A lot of the mounts out there are rated to hold up to 20 lbs and it seems like a majority of the suppliers build mounts to hold up to 34" Ultrawide monitors - so I was very happy to find this single arm mount rated to hold my 22 lb monitor.I really didn't see the value in having a monitor arm that swings out. This mount rotates and has a fixed position which is exactly what I needed for my standing desk.Setup was easy and very straight-forward, positioning the mount took very little time and I didn't need the help of anyone else to get this setup. Working in IT, I've fumbled with my share of monitor arms, monitor mounts and monitor what-have-yous. This mount was painless, which I very much appreciated.I don't see myself needing to replace this for quite some time but if I had to purchase another mount, I'd probably choose VIVO again. 5Great desk mount for large displays, but 200x200 VESA extensions may take some time to align, and included screws are shortI ordered this to mount a Samsung UN40KU6300 (a 40" 4K display) to my desk and free up a bit of space that the stand was previously taking up. This TV has a 200x200 VESA mounting pattern, and this was one of very few budget-oriented desk mounts for such a large display.In the box, it includes a 100x100 VESA mount and extension brackets to adapt it to 200x200. Based on the images, I expected the extensions to be attached already. Attaching them was easy enough, but the problem came in angling them appropriately--there's a few degrees of rotation for each of the extensions, and you need to have them at the right angle in order to thread the screws in for the TV. This was perhaps the longest part of the installation. It's also worth noting that the included M8 screws are only 20mm in length, and couldn't even reach the threading in the TV when using the including washers as instructed. I purchased 30mm M8 screws from a local store and used one of the included 5mm spacers along with a washer for each screw. (25mm M8 screws would've been ideal for this specific monitor, but the store did not have any in that length.)After attaching the pole to the desk and the mounting bracket to the TV, all that's left is putting it together. You'll probably need an additional person to help for this part (particularly for displays that are large or towards the heavier end of this mount's weight limit), or at the least something to keep the display raised up to the desired height while you tighten the screws. There are two screws to tighten, one controlling the height and one for tilt. Do not expect to be moving the display up or down with this mount--you'll need to loosen the screw while someone (or something) else holds the display up, and then re-tighten it at the desired height.Overall, installation probably took about an hour and wasn't too bad. Had it not been for the trouble in getting the mount (with extension brackets) to line up with the display's 200x200 VESA mount and the short length of the included screws, I would've given this product 5 stars. 4Awesome product for big TV /Monitors.Unbelievable that this can hold up my 40 inch computer monitors!!! Monitors are 16lbs. The secret is to tighter the tilt screws as tight as you can. This is the only way these high TV / Monitors won't fall forward. The other key to installing the screws is place TV flat on bed and assemble the stand completely, then lift the plate up slightly and screw all the screws in until they match up with the holes. At first you will say what others said. It won't match up for 400 x 400 or 200 x 200 but it does. You have to take your time and lift it up until all the screws are in before tightening any screw. Now you are happy. That was tricky. Great stand and for the price. Please keep these in stock and keep the price the same. 5Decent quality, but improvements neededOverall the stand is of decent quality and manufacture and works for its intended purpose. However, two issues stood out:1) The base and pole are separate pieces that screw together. The thread cuts were not clean and the threads were painted over, which made it difficult to screw the pole into the base. It took a fair amount of force and some clamps to break the threads in enough that it could be screwed in by hand.2) The vertical tilt adjustment doesn't hold very well. It relies on the clamping force between washers and a u-shaped bracket, tightened with a nut and bolt, that is part of the VESA mount. There is nothing to lock it into place, no counter-tension, etc. It claims to hold 22 lbs., but my 18 lb. monitor suddenly (and comically) drooped forward after a few weeks of use. It can only be tightened so much.I'll keep it around because I have some lighter monitors I can use it with. I wouldn't recommend this for heavier monitors or TVs. 3Holds my beast LG 43" monitor that weighs 25lbsBought this even though was worried it wouldn't be good for my new monitor due to it's weight and other reviews. After assembling and having to go to store for 1 nut due to it wasn't threaded properly for the vesa adapter's bolts I got the monitor mounted.My monitor is the LG 43" 4k weighing 25lbs on it's own. This monitor mount holds that beast easy with no sag. The vesa mount was a little hard to get on but that was LG's fault due to on the back where the mount is there are little tabs sticking out and the vesa mount was getting caught on them had to cut them off a bit but after everything worked out. 540 inch TV needs a longer pole at a desk.This product works great but I wish the pole was longer. I read some reviews it works for a 40 inch but at proper sitting height the top of the tv is about 5 inches above my eye level so I am constantly looking down on the screen. I have it set at the top of the pole.Im 6ft if that helps you get a better idea. It has about 4 inches of clearance from the table. If my mouse bungie was directly underneath it it would push it down. 4Very surprised. Recommended for large format monitors.I was pretty skeptical of the idea of mounting a 42" class monitor to a clamp attached to my thin Ikea desk, but I have to say, this mount is much more rigid and sturdy than I imagined. I can now tilt this behemoth monitor down slightly and get a better angle without too much slop. The attachment point is very secure and even with some motion in the desk it stays put. It's actually more stable than with the feet that came with my Phillips 43". I get a couple of extra inches of clearance off the desk and it's been great. I've only had it installed for less than 24 hours, but I'll update if anything comes loose or becomes an issue. 5Nice, but would not recommend for anything more than your 23" or so PC displayOverall , well made. but for a TV as large as they say it will hold, I'm sure it will. but with constant swiveling, I get concerned about the clamp base, even the optional screw base.The diameter of the screw to the table base is small in my opinion.I did not use it for my parents 40" TV.I found a metal based AMAZON basics mount.. which is what I used for them instead of this.If you do use it, just be careful and monitor it.Same with the clamp base, with a larger TV on it, I'm concerned that once you tighten the VESA mount swivels enough for it to stay in place, the force needed to swivel the tv, that torque, over time will loosen the clamp. As well as if someone being heavy handed with it. I wanted something safer for my parents who are older.It is well made, and I mounted this in my lab for my 23" monitor on my bench. And I would say my initial fears are founded. I'll keep my eye on it, and with the amazon stand, I have no concerns with my parents.I'm pretty heavy handed, and need to live with a torque wrench. I snap bolts commonly. I can really torque down on the winged bolt for the clamp, and feels as if I can start bending something, if I kept going.Need to torque down on the swivel bolts to have it keep it's position, but to allow movement. I actually tighten down too tight on the one for side to side swivel, and the mount itself twisted around on the pole instead. So watch the tighteness of these swivel points so they do swivel but hold up the monitor. I'd assume, again, need to monitor over time. 4
