Works okay for plus size parentsI'm 5' 10" and fluctuate between at 24 and 26 shirt right now. This sling fits me fine and can still use the phone pocket. It's a little tricky to use but does the job. Since it's positioned slightly diagonally across your body, it can feel wonky at times when compared to other baby carriers. It's easy to get the baby out our the carrier. It's nice there are not multiple layers of fabric wrapped around you.Plus sides: it's lightweight, rolls up easily to fit in a diaper bag, very washable, affordable. Great for shopping and walks.Downsides: it's a little tricky to get a secure fit at first but get's easier with practice. I wouldn't take it hiking but it's useful. 4Nice quality slingThe sling has a nice fabric to it - not too thin and flimsy, but not overly heavy either. I was frustrated with trying to adjust it at first, but with a little practice, it worked just fine (I'm a first time ring sling user). I love that it is so easy to carry my little one in it. The fabric stays in place. It doesn't sit completely smooth in the rings, so pulling the sides to adjust takes a little maneuvering, but it's pretty easy, and once you've got it where you want it, it stays in place. I also like the little pocket on the "tail" of the sling. Since I'm only a month post partum, I don't have a lot of clothes that fit, and the ones that do don't have pockets. So it's nice to be able to just drop my phone in the little pocket there. I have a Samsung GalaxyS8, and it goes all the way inside the pocket, it doesn't poke out. 5Best investment for my back/arms (lol)Best sling ever!!!! Sooo many compliments... wonderful for discrete breastfeeding in public (hands free).... absolutely would purchase again! 5Great for toddlersI purchased this for the sole purpose of not killing my arms while holding my lap child on the airplane when they took a nap. I have a 30lb toddler (under 2) and this worked like a champ. I was able to cradle him close to my body and keep my hands free to read while on our flight. He likes to spread out instead of sleeping with his head on my shoulder, so I have to hold him across my body with his legs tucked under my armpits - if that gives you a visual. When they nap for 2 hours on a 6 hour flight, holding them and being able to feel your hand is not an option. I was also able to use this to hold my kid on my side and it helps to lift some of the weight off my arms. I am not by any means a granola mom who insists on wearing her kid everywhere, it just happened to be on a cruise where we needed to keep our antsy twins in check during the assembly drill where they need to stand still for a bit. Unlike my husband I'm 5'2" and while my purse probably weighs 30lbs, it doesn't wiggle and jiggle all around so the sling came in super handy to hold my kiddo while not killing my arms. I was going to take the ergo to carry him on my back, but this took up much less space and I was able to easily fold this and fit in into my backpack. I didn't have any issues with it bunching around my neck. I would say that this is not a long term solution for a toddler of this size. However, for short term wear and for airplane trips, this is ideal. 4Great product, I am in love.Great product, soft fabric, and so stylish!!! I am having baby #3 in November. I wore my 2nd in a ring sling so I knew it was a must have for baby three. After ordering I read the reviews and got a little nervous about having to wash and re wash the sling to break it in. That was not the case! It is so soft! I put my two year old (25lbs) in it just to test it out and it held up great moving around. No slipping or anything!!! I might order a second one just as back up! 5The good: this ring sling has all the basic things ...The good: this ring sling has all the basic things a ring sling needs. It has fabric and two metal rings. The fabric is long enough to wrap around mom and baby and into the rings, leaving a tail that is not too long. The print is adorable.The bad: unfortunately this ring sling is made of material similar to bedsheets. It is not soft at all and very thin. The fabric is very difficult to pull through the rings, meaning it is difficult to tighten and hard to get baby In the right position. I do not recommend this product, as for a little more money you could get a nice woven ring sling. 3I love it, and so does my son!The sling is very easy to set use. I read many reviews before purchasing and I was not sure what they was talking about. It took me 2 minutes to put the sling on and have it adjusted. Once I got my son in the sling I did have to adjust it alittle more to fit him and that didn't take long at all. The only thing was I did have my husband hold my son up while I was adjusting it only because it is a new product for me and my son and he is a wiggle baby and I didnt want to take the chance of him falling. I love the sling and my son loved it as well! He is 3 months old and loves to be held and to walk around! I have not used it enough to be entirely hands free so at all times I had one hand on him to be safe! I do see where the reviews about it being one sided patterns and the pocket being on the inside. I flipped mine over at the rings to make sure the pocket and design was on the outside. Other than that it's a great product, great with my baby, could be longer I'm 5'9 and it did look alittle short on me and the pocket almost came up to my breast so sticking my hand in it would not work. I'm skinny and small breast so it's not from losing length from my width. Any ways its actually easy to use if people would think about it logically when they put it together instead of over thinking about it. Great fabric very sturdy! 5Easy to useI have 3 different carriers. A more backpack style one, a moby wrap, and this. They each have their time and place. This one was the first one I felt like my baby fit into in a football hold of sorts. And now that he's 5 months, he still fits in it while sitting up against me. I wasn't sure how that would work before I tried it, but it does! So when I need a carrier that lets me take him in and out quickly, and take it on and off quickly, this one is great. Took it with me to Disney Land recently and it was great for standing in line when we couldn't bring the stroller. I still end up using a hand to support him a little in it, so it's not my top pick if I want to multi-task with both hands, or if I'm wanting to wear him for an extended time. But it's 100x easier to use this carrier than hold him in my arms. Feels safe and secure. 5Wonderful carrier for busy parents!Let me start by saying that I am a seasoned baby wearer. I have multiple wraps and structured carriers. But this was my first time using any kind of ring sling - and I was not disappointed!I have a 7 month old with ongoing medical issues and long story short, she likes to be carried all the time. Since I also have an older child to take care of and things to get done around the house, a good baby carrier is essential. The downside to most of the wraps or carriers I have is that it blocks my range of motion and is hard to get things like dishes or washing bottles done while she is in the chest facing/forward facing position in a normal carrier. Enter the ring sling! She can sit on my hip which gives me much more freedom to use my arms and get things done.The second she got situated in the sling she was so cozy and comfortable and quickly fell asleep. We also used it at an older child s bday party and she slept the entire time! It was easy to use and only slight complicated to figure out for the first time. The only reason I subtracted one star is because the fabric that goes over your shoulder does tend to bunch up after awhile and requires readjusting. Like any carrier, after a long time wearing baby your back or shoulders will probably start aching, but that s not unique to this product.Overall I would absolutely recommend this! 4I really like this slingI really like this sling! It was especially great when my daughter was newborn and super tiny. I loved having her so close to me all the time. I watched a few YouTube videos to learn how to use it and it's really easy to use once you get the hang of it. Now it's pretty quick to get my baby in and out. I love that it's compact and I can just throw it in my diaper bag. I've gotten so many compliments on the print too.So now that my daughter is 3 months old, I like this carrier more for short periods of time. We use it when I pick up my older daughter from school, quick grocery store trips, or around the house. If I use it for too long then my back does start to hurt. We have an Ergo360 that we use to longer walks that distributes the weight more evenly.I still love this carrier though and prefer it's convenience and portability. 4
