I really want to like these, but the jury is still out..I was excited about installing the Wall Control System, but it has been a fight to make it work.The holes didn't hold my standard hooks, so I bought the wall control hooks thinking they'd be solid, but even after manipulating the hook stabilizer tabs they still move around. Also, I found that because of the design many of my tools did not fit on the hooks. Many of my Park Tools hanging holes were too small for the oversized hooks. I bought some magnetic hooks that have resolved this, but still - it is a lot of money for this ecosystem to have work meh, okay. I may return it still, will see if I can adapt. 2So much better than the traditional hooks and pegs.the stems of the pegs are a little fat, so items with a narrow hole need to have a string or leather loop added. But I love that they don't fall off the pegboard when I remove a tool! 4Work, but shaky without o-ringsI love the red color of these for adding a bold splash of color in my kitchen. They are fairly sturdy, although you MUST use the o-rings if you want them to feel very sturdy. Without the o-rings, the hooks will definitely shake and even potentially come out, especially while removing items.As you can see in the attached pic, I use them in my kitchen. They work for a decent chunk of my kitchen tools, but for some, the holes just don't work for these hooks. 4Very expensive for what you get.SSmall kit in comparison with what you get using the standard round peg. Also, I ended up with a piece that wasn t cut quite right, so it doesn t fit in to the wall unit at all. Annoying when the kit was so pricy to start with. I only bought this because I m using it for clothes (hats, belts, scarves) in my closet, and wanted to make sure the hooks were secure, and wouldn t just fall out if you brushed against them. These do meet that need, but as I said, very expensive for the quantity you receive. 3Nice add-on set, especially if you're looking for single hooksA nice selection of heavy-duty hooks and holders that look great with our Wall Control panels the red against the metal panels looks fantastic. I bought this as an add-on to go with the set of two panels (which already came with a few hooks, shelves, holders etc., but we wanted a few more to be able to hang more things). Specifically, we were looking for more single hooks for our purposes, and this set comes with lots of them. The one thing I have noticed with these hooks is that while they seem to latch into the wall panels pretty securely, the do tend to come out when you lift up an item, so you have to get the hang of the right angle to remove hung-up tools. Overall though, we do love this wall system and will likely purchase at least one more additional panel to maximize wall storage space. 4Some items are great, others not so muchThe first thing I want to say is that although the quality is great overall, they do need some better quality control on their paint process. They are pretty, no doubt about that, but there is no consistency with how thick the paint is applied. Some items, like the extra long hook are nearly impossible to get into the board because the paint is so thick that it will not slide in. Other items practically fall into the slot because the paint is thin.Like any kit of this kind, you are buying bulk and will have things you do not need, and not enough of others you do need. I purchased 5 kits to make sure I was covered. I absolutely love the hammer holder; God that is great. Most of the other items adapt well for whatever you want to hang, with a couple of exceptions.Those extra long hooks sound great, but if you are looking to slide something over it, like the the small hole in the end of a saw blade, it will not work. You will be better off buying a standard peg board hook for this. Since these are stamped out metal, they are not round, and where they need to build strength, the shape prevents items with small holes from being hung.This is also an issue with the smaller hooks. They work great for things like Pliers, and also for larger size combination wrenches, The problem comes though when trying to hang smaller size combination wrenches. The wrench will not slide over the wider sheet metal. You are better off with the smaller wrenches to use standard Peg Board hooks and paint them to match. For the larger sizes though, stay with Wall Control. I wish Wall Control would make smaller versions of their hammer holder. If there were smaller ones, they would work great for the combination wrenches.As far as the angled hooks...I have nothing to say. I could not find a use for them, except for small paperweights. I just could not find any tool that would mount well with them for the sizes I have. 3Functional and PrettyThis is a useful kit to make your Wall Control Pegboard more functional. It holds my drill, chisels, duct tape, packing tape dispenser, gloves (attached with binder clips), flashlights (attached with silicone ties), the one random wrench I have, and more. I felt that I still needed some actual tool holders so I added a couple of the 5-slot units and eventually got some bins. 5Terrible stuff. This kit doesn't have much that's useful ...Terrible stuff. This kit doesn't have much that's useful I wish I would've went with traditional 1/4" pegs. Most of these are unstable too short and useless and bend super easy. If u wouldn't have needed it right away I would've returned it. From the included picture you can see how the one peg can't even be used for my application it's completely unstable.All and all I was only able to use less than half of the hooks 1Lots of hooks included, but some are very smallI hesitated to order these after reading the reviews, but I have been happy with them so far. As others have mentioned, some of the hooks are very small, but we were able to use them for things like scissors, utility knife and anything with a string attached. And some of the hooks were real head scratchers on what they would be useful for. I did read that some people thought the paint was too thick, but we didn't experience any issues with ours. Some were a bit difficult to move once you put them in, but it is mostly a matter of tilting and lifting. Instructions were included on how to tighten or loosen the hook catch, but ours worked perfectly. If adding additional hooks in the future, we will probably order them individually. But over all, good assortment. 4Superior hooks, but need more varietyThese hooks are FAR superior to traditional pegboard hooks for Wall Control pegboards. My only complaint is that there are no options for hooks that don't have the huge lip on the end other than the extra-long piece. Quite a few of the items I want to hang up won't go on the hooks because the end of all but the smallest hook sticks up nearly 1/2 inch (and even the smallest sticks up about 3/8 inch) tools with fatter handles and/or smaller hanging holes can't make the "turn," and even if some of them could, the "root" of the hook is too wide for them to sit on. (I ***HATE*** attaching hanging cords to my gardening tools; they get in the way when I'm trying to use the tool.)I solved the problem by using my bench grinder to grind down the lip of a few hooks for the tools I need to hang. It obviously took off the powder coating on the end of the hook, but at least the hook is useable now.It would be nice if the manufacturer would offer some medium-length skinny hooks. But all in all, a good purchase.Otherwise, 4
