    Durable and functional! We had some that arrived dented but this was probably a function of the shipping. They are strong and we use them in multiple locations. Backlight them with led strip lighting for a cool effect! 4Great heavy duty for my heavier tools I have wooden pegboard through my shop but needed something that was more heavy duty to hold some of my heavier tools. This fit the bill perfectly. Bought 4 panels and screwed them to my wall. These accept standard hooks. Make sure you buy the thicker heavy duty hooks as they stay better. Some of the cheaper thin ones don't stay attached very well. 5Solid and good design. This product seems very well made, is pretty heavy and a good size. I like the protruding design to allow inserting hanging hardware without affecting the wall. I didn't end up using this for the original purpose I purchased it but plan to use it to hang tools. Note that it is meant to hang horizontally for the slots to be effective. I've seen other versions of this on Amazon where the slots run the other direction and you can purchase packs of two that mount vertically. 4Best peg mounting system around. I went a little overboard and bought a bunch of wall control units. I have a mix of plastic, fiberboard and Wall Control boards in my garage. The Wall Control is the best by far. The only downside is that it not omnidirectional if you are going to use the slots. Not a big deal as they have various configurations to accommodate horizontal and vertical applications. I use both the Wall Control hook system hooks and standard plastic and metal hooks. It is very sturdy and looks good. I did mine in red, white and blue. 4Great panels, but use caution if cutting them! I needed to install this around a wall outlet near my workbench, and used a angle grinder and some bending pliers to make it work. It wasn't pretty, but is thankfully concealed mostly by the wall plate I put on the outlet box extension:). I had to do the same to keep a continuous hanging surface around a wall mounted cabinet as well.One thing to note is that the way the panels are bent, a lot of the rigidity is in the C channel around the edge, so if you cut that work around something, as soon as you do that, the panel gets pretty floppy and you'll have to back the cut edge with something else.Any way you slice it (!), these are great panels, and once you figure out how you want to use all the different hooks and whatnot with your tools, it's a slick set up:) 5Great organizers! I mounted two of these on a wall in my sewing room. I added three shelves and various wall control hooks along with a magnetic cup and magnetic clips. Placement of LED puck lights beneath the shelves gives me plenty of task lighting. I am so organized now it is a pleasure to sew - I can find everything easily. And I have room for much more! 5Great Pegboard! I have longed for a pegboard for quite some time now and being this my first pegboard I gotta say It's been a very good investment. I love to craft and design and obviously I tend to be a bit messy.. But this pegboard since the moment I installed it I have not had a problem having it lean on one side or become too heavy and a worry about needing to peg less tools and such. I love the color. It keeps the peg hooks in order and has enough space for my personal projects. I would very much recommend it. The only reason I'm giving a 4 stars is the customer service on part of the person selling it to me first. He got offended because I asked about the arrival of this item.. Which he without notice cancelled my order without my permission or know about.. Luckily I checked the order and the good people on Amazon fixed everything in a matter of minutes for me. Other than that I'd consider buying this again with no hesitation. 4Durable and Looks Great It's great because you can use magnets to mount things that don't match up with hooks. I got a horizontal piece to fit over on my workbench and under my cabinets. My only gripe is that the anchors that come with it are rubbish, toss them and use something good if you can't get the stud. Speaking of which, it would have been better to have horizontal grooves to mount the screw to studs in case they don't line up with the space you have. But, this will last the life of the house vs. replacing it every few years like normal pegboards. 4Great product. Rare Earth magnets help to retain the hooks. I ordered 2 of the 16H x 32W panels for our laundry room, and another half dozen panels (some horizontal, some vertical) for my workshop. Overall, I am very pleased with them. They are extremely sturdy and work as intended to hang tools, the ironing board, our Dyson hand vac, etc. (I used self-locking hex nuts with nylon centers to mount the Dyson, which fit the spacing in the board perfectly.) I have given the product 5 stars, but would have given 4.5 if that were possible, because of 2 issues: First, the hooks have a tendency to come loose, even with the (somewhat annoying) double-movement to insert or remove. I came up with a solution to the problem: I use rare earth magnets to retain the hooks in the board. Small oblong magnets for the Wall Control hooks (which are flat), and round magnets for all of my old "legacy" hooks left over from my old masonite wall boards (Insert the magnet underneath the hook, between the mounting pins; that keeps the hook from coming out, and from pointing downward). The other issue is that these boards are designed for studs that are 16 inches on center. If the studs are not spaced exactly 16" OC, then you have to use the drywall anchors, which are barely up to the job of supporting the panels, let alone any tools. Fortunately, I was able to get at least 4 out of the six mounting points for each panel aligned over studs. The 3rd pair of holes are in drywall, but all they really do is hold the panel snug against the wall. The other 4 are really what's carrying the load, weight-wise. You can see where I cut a little strip of paneling to fill an odd space between studs. One other thing I really like is the brackets for hanging an LED shop lamp. Notice in the photos that I attached the brackets at the ends of a panel, which lets me take advantage of running screws through the pre-drilled holes in the brackets, then thru the pre-drilled holes in the panels themselves, and then into the studs. Nice and secure. The brackets do a perfect job of suspending the LED light above my bench. So maybe 4.75 stars. Anyway - try them, you'll like them. They sure beat masonite, IMHO - especially if you use my little trick of rare earth magnets to retain the hooks. 5This stuff looks great and works very well This stuff looks great and works very well. It's much better-looking than traditional pegboard, and the fact that the holes won't ever get degraded through use is a big plus. Using the Wall Control peghooks instead of normal ones will let you have a much stiffer hook, which allows you to do things like mount drills on them without having the hooks flop all over when you grab the tools. 5
