Customer Reviews

More useful than you would think My occupational therapist suggested using this plunger to perform knee bone (patella) manipulation. It can also be used in conjunction with a foam roller. The foam roller provides a compression of the affected muscles, and the plunger can be used to provide decompression of the same muscle groups on the thigh and calf. 5Why doesn t everyone already own one of these? I think there s a vast conspiracy involving the drain cleaning liquid people, because if everyone knew about these, there would be no need for bottles of drain cleaner. My bathroom sink drain has been clogged for... I almost don t remember it not being clogged, or at the very least, reeeeeally slow. It drains, eventually. But just washing hands or brushing teeth was enough to fill the sink. I hesitated to buy this because I m about to move across the country, so I felt like this would be one more thing to pack, or a waste of money if I left it for the next occupant. But it s not much more expensive than another bottle of drain cleaning gel (which didn t work) so what did I really have to lose?Folks, it s coming to the East Coast with me. I want to go down the halls of my building knocking on doors and saying hi, how s your sink drain doing? Can I be of any help? Because it took me less than 5 minutes from opening the box to staring in disbelief as water went down the drain AND STAYED DOWN THE DRAIN. It s sort of concerning how excited I am by this. Well, it s the little things in life.Just a tip: I didn t quite use this like a normal plunger for the toilet. My sink was empty when I used it, so I don t know how things would go with a sink full of water. To get a seal around the sink drain I held the handle with one hand and pressed the rubber part down with the other. Then I pumped it like a regular plunger for a couple of minutes, and just as I was wondering how I was supposed to even know if it was working I heard a noise like something going down the drain. (From what I remembered that sounding like anyway, it had been so long.) That was the blockage being dislodged and washed away. It was that easy.Excuse me, I have some doors to knock on. 5So Easy And Very Effective Wow. Really luv this little sink plunger. It does the trick. I've been using Drano for years and the last time I used it, it did not work. Then I tried the baking soda/white vinegar and it made the clog in my sink worse! My friend told me to use a plunger. I was a little skeptical, but borrowed a sink plunger and it cleared my clogged sink in minutes. Bought this small sink plunger (not for a toilet) and used it on my slow draining sink in the bathroom. It worked like a charm. Wish I had bought this plunger years ago!! 5Excellent! I love my Harvey Company sink plunger! Pros: It is small and it does a great job. I love the gorgeous navy blue colour. It matches my kitchen decor. It was a great price. Cons: I cannot find anything wrong with this plunger. I highly recommend it. 5Cute, but doesn't seal So having a cute plunger isn't a necessity, but when one has the opportunity, one takes it. However, when the item arrived it was not round but ovoid and a bit smushed. I assumed this was due shipping and with time it would return to its (assumed) former flat-bottom and round shape. That did not happen. As a result, I have a plunger that does not seal fully and therefore doesn't plunge and is not eligible for return. You had one job, plunger. 1I couldn't believe how easy it was to unclog the sink Holy cow! Here I was, spending a fortune buying drain cleaners and ruining my septic system with their caustic chemicals, when all I needed was this inexpensive little plunger. I received it today and with a few "plunges" on my slow-draining bathroom sink, the gunk was pushed down the drain and the sink drains perfectly. I couldn't believe how easy it was to unclog the sink. I am buying one of these plungers for my mother-in-law who also has a septic system and has problem drains in her kitchen and bathroom. 5Excellent plunger for bathroom & kitchen drains For many years, my older apartment's bathroom sink hasn't worked very well. It drains terribly, and while I've tried a number of drain-cleaning solutions, it became clear the problem wasn't something dissolvable. Using this plunger, I was able to dislodge out what looked like a mass of plastic lablels. No wonder it wouldn't drain out! I've also used this with my shower drain, and unclogged *something*. My shower drain and sink both run much better now. This is a handy DIY tool you hopefully won't need often, but it's a definite help when you need it. 5A Gem Bright, contemporary design. Perfect size for my laundry and bathroom sinks. Easily cleared a very slow bathroom sink drain that had previously resisted other methods (baking soda + vinegar + boiling water, washing soda + vinegar, cupful of bleach, enzyme and biological drain openers - not all at once.) I didn't notice any stiffness in the cup that someone else had mentioned. In fact, due to plumbing changes I can no longer remove the drain stopper in this sink so had to plunge using only one hand while holding the stopper stem open with my free hand. No problem. Prompt, free shipping and a very attractive product. Highly recommend. 5I purchased this particular sink plunger upon the recommendation of ... I purchased this particular sink plunger upon the recommendation of my physical therapist - not for use on a sink drain but as part of a physical therapy application: We used it to apply suction to the area around my knee cap (patella) which elevated and helped to mobilize my knee cap such that a particular pain associated with my knee was relieved. We call it the "patella plunger" and find both its size and flexibility of the blue rubber portion to be ideal for this application. I have no plan to use it for its otherwise intended purpose. 5Used in physical therapy I used this plunger in physical therapy for my knee. It is sort of like cupping (used on the swimmers in the olympics). It is awesome. Small and easy to travel with. I take it to the gym and do treatments on my knee while there as needed. 5
