    Amazing brush cleaner! The best paint brush cleaner on the market! I'm so glad I did some research before purchasing on at the hardware store and found this. It's way better than the standard brush cleaner with thicker tines. I highly recommend this product if you want to keep your brushes in top notch condition. 5A great tool and brush saver. This is our favorite paint brush cleaning tool. We have purchased several over the past 15 years. We actually wear down the bristles from use.Our brushes are old (15+) and this tool keeps them paint free and working fine. The finer brass bristles gets right into the strands to dislodge any paint in the interior of the brush. The firm teeth help when paint dries at the hub when we are working on a long project or we might wrap the brush in between coats. We have given several as gifts to friends who are about to tackle a home renovation. A GREAT TOOL! 5Great Product. Must have for meticulous home painter. I have been using the Wooster Brush 1831 now for about 6 months since ordering the product. Since I am very meticulous about the care and maintenance of my paint brushes this was the tool I have been looking for. The brush allows for the bristles to be separated so when you are washing the paint brush it makes sure to reach all of the pockets where paint might reside. I also like how it can be used to clean the brush handle from dried or paint that happened to get bumped on the handle during use.Pros:- Helps you spread the paint brush bristles to clean out all of the paint pockets- Gently cleans the brush handleCons:- None Yet! 5Useful for reusing brushes but wire bristles a bit too soft Brushes never got many reuses by me until now. Doing my procrastination research, I read about wire brushing paintbrushes to really clean them. Previously I did the run-under-water and brush hand. The latex paint would build up in the brush and kill it.But I got some way nicer brushes. Now I'm wire brushing them (not too roughly or you'll damage the brush) and All the paint comes out. If there's some dried in, soaking in mineral spirits may salvage, but definitely start doing this with new brushes.I loved this at first, but find myself reaching for my old wire brush that's got stronger bristles as this doesn't get through thicker brushes well. 4BEST BRUSH CLEANING TOOL AVAILABLE! This is hands down the best tool of it's kind on the market today. As a professional with over 30 years experience I buy nothing but the best quality tools, especially paint brushes. With proper care and cleaning they will continue to perform and deliver the high quality finished results that you or your customers expect and deserve. This brush comb makes short work of properly cleaning brushes without destroying the filaments. I have been purchasing and using these for several years. They used to be available at the big box stores but I have not seen them in a year or so in my area. I went to "Wooster's" web site to find them and was directed to "Amazon" as Wooster does not sell direct. Needless to say I was happy to find them and purchased 3 of them. The average DIYer will likely only need 1 in their lifetime. I use this almost daily and they typically last me about 8 months or so. One other great cleaning tool for the painter is the "Rejuvaroller" (also available on Amazon for about $19) excellent for cleaning your roller covers. 5This tool helps to fully clean the brush and helps it to remain useful longer. I highly recommend this brush We painted our entire home by ourselves, and with that- we went through many paint brushes. We came across this product online and it immediately sparked our interest. We ordered it right away in hopes of extending the life of our paint brushes. And boy, did it do that. This brush helps to remove paint that is accumulated in the brush the wire brush is very effective at removing paint; dry and wet. This tool helps to fully clean the brush and helps it to remain useful longer. I highly recommend this brush! 5Great Time and Money Saver for Painting Cleanup I bought this after purchasing an old farmhouse and having tons of painting to do. I had to do my painting in the few spare hours I had each day so I was cleaning up a lot. This things revolutionized the way I clean paintbrushes. It is so much faster using this tool.I use the tines or comb section to comb through the brush while I wash the paint out of it. If you push the tines through the brush and then pull them back towards the handle you can get a lot of paint out by running water over the brush.I use the brush section to brush off the dried on paint from the outside of the bristles. Hold the paintbrush with your left hand and then with your right hand brush away from the handle of the paintbrush.On thing I wish was different on this tool is the brush bristles. They are just a little too soft and get bent. If they were harder, similar to a welder's brush they would be perfect. However, if you angle the bristles away from the handle of your paintbrush while you brush it they don't get bent as much and it works fine.After you clean and rinse out your brushes they should look close to like new condition. Just dry them by hanging them on something by the handle and you'll save tons of money on brushes.I would definitely purchase this tool again despite the soft bristles. 4Every painter needs this! I wish I would have known about this brush years ago. I am painting a workshop in hot and humid conditions, which makes the paint on my brush load up and dry. This comb helps clean out the dried paint from the bristles and then helps reshape the brush for the next use. By cleaning out the paint from the interior of the brush, the bristles do not get matted together and the bristles stay supple, greatly extending the life and painting quality of the brush. This comb is of good quality, the brass bristles stay straight and haven't matted down as usually happens with brass bristles. Overall, I am very glad I purchased this. 5Wooster paint brush cleaning tool Looking for one for sometime. Glad I found it I should have know Amazon would carry this type of tool. Makes life a little easier to help in cleaning paint brushes well. Enjoy having this inmy painting supplies. Very sturdy tool and works well. Would recommend if you reuse your paint brushes. 5Versatile This is the second one of these brushes I have purchased. I bought the first one at a local paint store about 5 years ago.. They don't carry them any more, so when I wanted to replace it I looked on Amazon. I like this item because it has a plastic handle that is easy to hold.. Not a wooden handle like the brush comb I bought at the local hardware store years ago. If you do a lot of painting, you'll want to clean your brushes.. The wire brush side is the go-to side for removing the paint.. Then the comb straightens the bristles for drying. Depending on how exuberantly you use the wire brush, you will end up with curled and bent wires- but that is the same thing on ALL wire brushes. This item gives me the two tools in one and if I buy a new one every 4-5 years I am good with that. Btw, I didn't throw the old one away.. I gave it to my daughter. And you can't beat the Wooster brand. Very happy with this item. 5
