A great buy!Love the lights. They give my gym a completely different look and vibe. I had the lights for almost a year and just recently purchased more to cover my entire gym. 5Excellent Product/ Standard SocketComparing these bulbs to the ones I've had is no comparison. First with the brightness of 75watts you actually get true lighting from these bulbs, whether in true white, or one of the many colors, or of the many variable settings. Plus you can even adjust the brightness and or dimness. Use each bulb independently, as each has it's own remote control. Or Use them in sync. You can even strobe these bulbs. Of course being LED they are low energy and will last basically forever. But if you are interested in ambient lighting, choose something with some wattage. Similar bulbs that have less wattage output than these bulbs just simply don't provide enough light. These bulbs, 4 per pack are well worth every cent. Again, that includes 4 remotes as well 4 bulbs. Bulbs that won't break if you drop them on carpet either. In this category, these are the best I've ever bought. 5No soft white setting, but still really great bulbs.These bulbs are really nice. Only complaint is I wish there were a soft white setting, which is why I gave 4 stars. The white light is bright enough, but it's too cool of a light. Doesn't create the proper atmosphere for room lighting. Other than that, I love them. I have two of them in my living room in the lamps. My teenager loves that he can use the remote to change colors or set it to fade between colors, etc. Really good quality. I highly recommend this product. As I see there are many questions regarding these bulbs I will provide more descriptive answers to many of the questions submitted here.These bulbs internally use eight white LEDs in a ring pattern surrounding four RGB LEDs in a center square pattern. The bulb is well constructed and has dimensions of ;Max Dia. 1.707in /43.36mmLength 4.673in / 118.69mmUsing a Kodak 18% gray card I measure the color temperature at 5700K The remote functions well and allows easy control of all the bulb functions . Of the red, green, and blue LEDs of course the green looks the brightest since it is right at the peak color sensitivity of the human eye. Beware though the blue LEDs used in this bulb are actually brighter. The human eye is not as sensitive to blue so it just looks dimmer. You should not view the blue ( or any bright LED) at close range since you eyes will not respond effectively to protect your vision. Also in measuring the light output it was observed the blue LED output forced UV sensitive ink to florescence so there must also be some UV emitted by the blue LEDs.You will see in the tables below extended specifications for this bulb. I finally found and purchased enough bulbs of the same type for my basement with these. I can dim the lights as I prefer, my family can turn them up if they're looking for something, they can be on a timer so if someone falls asleep they aren't on all night... they're just great all around! Being able to rotate colors and set moods if fun also.The dimmer has 6 total settings. It's almost like a series of 3 that are dim to almost medium, 2 that are medium and plenty bright enough in my opinion, an a super-bright that lets you see very well.One thing to point out, these are more of a "yellow" light than they are a "white" light, which is fine by me.Great purchase, highly recommended! I'm trying to convince my wife to put these everywhere in the house now. 5
